Begin each day with gratitude The journey to peace begins with a grateful heart. When we focus on what we don't have- our mind seeks to confirm all the scarcity. The more we focus on the scarcity of love, hope, things, money, friends, etc.. the less joy and satisfaction we feel in our lives. There are numerous studies done that list the benefits of gratitude. www.forbes.com/sites/amymorin/2014Gratitudepower.net/science/htm Dr. Robert Emmons www.health.harvard.edu/newsletter Nov.2011The consensus of benefits from expressing gratitude are as follows: Better relationshipsImproved physical healthPhysiological healthEnhances empathy, reduces aggressionMental HealthImprove Self EsteemSleep BetterI am sure there are many more benefits to being grateful than this list of seven. 'I Was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day': A Pentecostal Engagement with Worship in the Apocalypse
In this monograph Dr Melissa Archer offers a comprehensive study of the theme of worship in the Apocalypse. In the first chapter she presents a survey of the modern literature devoted to various aspects of worship in the book. In chapter two she constructs a Pentecostal reading strategy informed by the history of the Pentecostal movement and the contemporary conversations with regard to the emerging discipline of Pentecostal hermeneutics. The third chapter offers a history of the effect the worship themes from Revelation had on early Pentecostal readers as revealed in the Pentecostal periodical literature of the movement's first decade. The fourth chapter offers a narrative reading of all the texts devoted to worship in the Apocalypse. In the fifth chapter, Archer proposes a Pentecostal theology of worship constructed by placing into dialogue the results of her study of the role of worship in the Apocalypse with scholarly work on Pentecostal worship. This cutting edge work is destined to make a significant contribution both to the theme of worship in the academic study of the Apocalypse and the construction of a distinctively Pentecostal theology of worship. It is a model of an integrated Pentecostal approach to Scripture that offers a paradigm for others interested in engaging the biblical text from a Pentecostal context.

Each day for an entire year an entire roll of film was taken. Each roll was scanned and a single photo was selected to represent that date. A poem was written in dedication to the moments and people, who helped stitch together the events. This is a record of those moments.

Things aren't always what they seem in this silly tale of friendship and adventure. When Lulu's mummy leaves for work every day, she assumes Lulu will spend the day curled up sleeping. What else could she possibly do? After all, Lulu is a dog, and dogs do sleep all day... Don't they? Not Lulu.
