There are many revolutions against the royalties that ruled in 19th Century Europe. The hero's background is royal and he helps them. However, he offered aid to Mazzini and Garibaldi in their rebellion against a cruel royalty in Italy. The hero's quest is to conquer death because of deep love for a wife who becomes ill. He has studied medicine and his friend is a chemist, so their goal seems possible. The tragedies are outweighed by deep love, humor and adventure. The ending is an enchanting surprise regarding their quest for a never-ending love.

Passions from the Ages explores a range of themes and ideas, such as love, hope and fear in a thoughtful manner...with a trace of humour in some verses to lift up our human spirit. The poet avoids the constraints and complications as found in too many poems of old. However, the substance of issues shared with the reader remains undiluted. The verses and feelings openly provokes a discussion on common social delusions and realities, ignored moral struggles, and some focus on our human relations. The poetic concerns in this work are as much about our neighbours as they are about ourselves.
This book concentrates on the 250 years beteen the late 11th and early 14th centuries and studies two key facets of the rationalistic tradition.

In the cemeteries of Graeco-Roman Alexandria in Egypt, archaeological investigations initiated more than a century ago discovered various water systems adapted for specific funerary purposes. From the foundation of the city in 332 B.C. to the third century A.C., over fifty hydraulic installations have been noted within the records of Alexandria itself and its vicinity. From a corpus that inventories the hydraulic structures identified to this day in the archaeological literature, the different water management systems are described and reasons put forward to explain the presence of these devices (wells, cisterns, basins, etc.). The results show that the cemeteries should not just be considered as a cities for the dead but also as places of rebirth and life. Some of the devices discovered within the funerary context have echoes in the libation systems already known in the Mediterranean and lead towards an evaluation, from textual and iconographical documents, of the role of water in the offerings to the Alexandrian dead. We are living in complicated and uncertain times. Our kids are surrounded by unhealthy or false messages about their bodies, relationships, and human sexuality and it is our job to teach them what is true and what is not. It is vital that we begin these discussions to help them understand what healthy sexuality is, how special their bodies are, their primary identity as children of God, and that they can come to us as parents to find answers. Our homes are the first and most important classroom our children will have. With its powerful questions, scripture-based teachings, extensive glossary, and additional resources, 30 Days of Sex Talks for Latter-day Saint Families will help set the tone for the future, creating a home where your child can talk to you about anything
