Demand Side Management (DSM) initiatives have gotten a lot of attention in recent years, due to the rise of the smart grid and consumer-centric regulations. The DSM program has many objectives. Controlling energy demand by modifying consumer demand is one of the main goals. Demand-Response plays a vital role in the planning and implementation of electrical utility programs, as well as in designing consumers' electricity usage that results in desirable load shape changes. In other words, Demand Response is used to change the overall load shape while keeping the balance between utility and consumers' load. First developed and then implemented an intelligent demand response simulator by nature-inspired algorithms, to assess the financial terms related to the tariff, proposed a supervised framework for designing a demand response simulator with the incorporation of real-time price (RTP) and peak time rebate (PTR) and compared with ANN-based DR topologies, to calculate the exact demand for implementing a successful DR and in the same rhythm, designed a hybrid system, based on On-Grid Renewable integration using PV and Battery to improve the consumers' comfort.

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) play a pivotal role in the field of urban planning and management and provide better solutions for numerous urban problems. With GIS, one has the ability to better understand existing requirements of a city and its design to fulfill those needs. This book contributes to developing scientific knowledge based on geospatial technologies among planners, researchers, scientists, professionals, students, and laymen and providing them with better understanding for urban planning and management at various levels. The book manifests the importance of GIS in better understanding of current urban challenges and provides new insights on how to apply GIS in urban planning. It also encourages the various stakeholders of society to participate in the decision-making process and assists planners and authorities to formulate suitable plans for sustainable urban growth of a region. The book is divided into two parts. The first part describes thefundamental concepts of GIS and also deals with the advanced techniques of spatial planning. The second part addresses real-world case studies using various applications of GIS. The case studies include urban land-use changes, simulation of future urban growth, urban heat island, alternate landfill site selection and urban flood susceptibility mapping, among others. This book shows how to integrate GIS with remote sensing, geostatistics, artificial intelligence-machine learning techniques, and other cutting-edge technologies. Readers find this book to be an invaluable resource for understanding and solving problems relating to sustainable urban planning and management.

Initiating therapy at a younger age offers several advantages: - Guiding Jaw Development: Early intervention can direct the growth of facial and jaw bones, ensuring proper alignment and function.- Creating Space for Permanent Teeth: By addressing dental arch issues early, we can provide sufficient space for permanent teeth to erupt correctly, reducing the likelihood of crowding.- Preventing Future Dental Problems: Early treatment can prevent more serious issues from developing, potentially reducing the need for complex procedures later in life. - Reducing the Risk of Dental Injuries: Protruding or misaligned teeth are more susceptible to trauma. Early correction can decrease the risk of dental injuries. - Improving Self-Confidence: Addressing orthodontic issues early can enhance a child's self-esteem by improving their smile and overall facial aesthetics. It's also important to recognize that early intervention can lead to more efficient and effective treatment outcomes, potentially reducing the need for more invasive procedures in the future.

In this book, we have revealed a novel type of Schmitt trigger circuit which illustrates some noteworthy result. We have realized the Schmitt trigger circuit by the use of FinFET. The Schmitt trigger circuit is very noteworthy in producing a clean pulse from the input signal comprising of noise. There are various applications of Schmitt trigger circuit in VLSI system such as in scheming the oscillator circuit, analog to digital converter, function generator, signal conditioning and numerous applications. Thus, it becomes imperative to boost its performance by plummeting the leakages and power consumption of the Schmitt trigger circuit.
