Frank Hoffmann; George Albert

Scarecrow Press

The book compiles all charts appearing in Cash Box magazine prior to 1989 which have not appeared in the earlier volumes of this chart series. Genres and media formats covered include twelve-inch disco/dance singles, midline albums, video games, compact discs (prior to their integration into the "Top 200 Album Chart"), video clips, videotape sales, and jukebox activity. Alphabetically-arranged title and artist (where relevant) indexes have been included for each chart section, along with appropriate "see also" references. The various sections also feature concise, informative introductions to the genre or medium being covered. The chart data cites not only chart entry dates and total weeks on the chart, but a week-by-week notation of chart positions attained by each title (a feature unique to Scarecrow Cash Box series).

At the request of the President of Harvard University, six Harvard scholars have joined forces to write a book that lays out the facts about nuclear weapons for all concerned citizens who want to think through the nuclear dilemma for themselves. Living with Nuclear Weapons is written by specialists for the general reader. It conveys crucial information clearly, concisely, and without technical jargon.Living with Nuclear Weapons presents all sides of the nuclear debate while explaining what everyone needs to know to develop informed and reasoned opinions about the issues. Among the specifics are a history of nuclear weaponry; an examination of current nuclear arsenals; scenarios of how a nuclear war might begin; a discussion of what can be done to promote arms control and disarmament; a study of the hazards of nuclear proliferation; an analysis of various nuclear strategies; and an explanation of how public opinion can influence policy on the nuclear arms question.

If it were not for the thoughtfulness of the author who has kindly translated the dialogue of two of the characters into English, the audience would be as confused as the actors, who play a Finn, an Italian and an Englishman - none of whom speak a word of the other's languages.1 women, 2 men

For over two hundred years in England, the name Anderson was associated with power and wealth. Albert Anderson, at twenty-one years of age, was the future heir of the Anderson fortune, and like his ancestors before him, his early years were spent sowing wild oats. That is until his grandfather asked him two simple questions, "What are your goals in life?", and "What are your dreams for the future?" Astounded, young Albert could not answer, nor did he know. The next few days, though, would change his life forever. Would he continue to let himself be used by his conniving mother or step into the long line of fortune makers? Or something altogether different? You may be astounded at his decision. This is the life story of young Albert.
