Number patterns are subjected to rigorous analysis within the field of mathematics, with each pattern exhibiting distinct properties and behaviors. Arithmetic progressions, for instance, are characterized by a constant difference between consecutive terms, allowing for the determination of any term in the sequence through a simple formula. Geometric progressions, on the other hand, showcase a consistent multiplicative ratio between consecutive terms. Advanced patterns, such as recursive sequences, demand intricate analyses, as they rely on previously generated terms to derive subsequent elements. Mathematicians employ various techniques, including algebraic manipulation, calculus, and discrete mathematics principles, to discern underlying relationships and formulate general expressions for these patterns. By engaging in systematic explorations of these patterns, mathematicians unveil the intrinsic order and predictability that underscore numerical sequences. The subject of Number Patterns and Sequences: Basics of Mathematical Patterns encompasses a comprehensive exploration of recurring numerical relationships and structures. This area of study delves into the fundamental principles that govern the orderly arrangement of numbers, with an emphasis on unveiling the underlying rules and behaviors that give rise to various patterns. The book provides a systematic introduction to the diverse array of patterns that emerge in mathematics, ranging from straightforward arithmetic and geometric progressions to more intricate recursive sequences. By dissecting these patterns through rigorous mathematical analyses and formulas, this book equips readers with the foundational tools needed to recognize, understand, and predict the evolution of numerical sequences. In essence, this book serves as a gateway for individuals to engage with the fundamental building blocks of mathematics and to develop a deeper appreciation for the elegant symmetries and structures that define the numerical world.
This volume is presented as a tribute to Prof. V. N. Misra (Misraji), one of the most respected archaeologists of India. The 17 contributions, all based on the revised doctoral research of scholars who completed their Ph.D. under the honorand's supervision, cover a time span from the Palaeolithic to the early historic period and treat regions across India, while one covers the early historic period of Bangladesh. Topics covered include lithic technology studies; topographic analyses of the subsistence strategies of hunter-gatherers and fishermen; discussion of ceramics, bone tools, rock art, cist burials and archaeometallurgical sites; reports from megalithic sites; accounts of settlement patterns in the context of landscape, soils, climate, water sources, flora and fauna; discussion of early maritime trade; archaeozoological analysis; reports of ethnoarchaeological field work and more.

Economic growth and urbanization and its corresponding changes in environment are the major affecting factors for land use change. Economic growth and urbanization are inextricably linked to each other. Urbanization is an inevitable part of development process and the rate of growth of urbanization is an important indicator of economic development. Developing economy attracts urbanization which requires more infrastructure development for the stable growth of economy and implements the pressure on land and forest cover area. The rise in the global temperature is caused by the accumulation of so called 'Green House Gasses' (GHG). The increase in global CO2 and its corresponding temperature on earth surface known as Global warming. It affects not only ecosystems by altering the composition of the vegetation as well as plant, animal diversity and human health, but also economies through a variety of channels, such as water resources, agriculture and energy. CO2 is responsible for 60% of the greenhouse effect and enhancing in global temperature. The present study is inclined towards the carbon sequestration calculation and land use changes in Madhya Pradesh.

The book covers some differences related to elevated BMI in the presentation of breast cancer as well as molecular aspect of epigenetics in BRCA1 gene. The lifestyle behavior, urbanization and upper SES, intake of junk food collectively enhances body weight and cell proliferation. Hypermethylation of BRCA1 gene was significantly associated with carcinoma of Breast. The book covers complete research overview on impact of life style as well as molecular aspect of BRCA1 gene (most aggressive) in carcinoma of breast.

Indiscriminate use of anthelmintics has led to the problem of anthelmintic resistance in most developing countries. This burning problem has made goat farming uneconomical in India. This book describes the detection of benzimidazole resistance in Haemonchus contortus in goats in Central India. Faecal egg count reduction test revealed that H. contortus is resistant to fenbendazole which was further confirmed by Egg hatch assay. The prevalence of homozygous resistant genotype and resistant allele at 200 codon of β-tubulin Isotype I gene was 62% and 74%, respectively. An effort for the management of anthelmintic resistance was made by using herbal anthelmintics as well as commonly used anthelmintics with different mechanism of action like closantel and doramectin. The benzimidazole resistant nematodes were found fully susceptible to both these synthetic anthelmintics. Aqueous leaf extracts of Azadirachta indica, Annona squamosa and Nicotiana tabacum were also tried in vivo against benzimidazole resistant gastrointestinal naematodes but were found not much effective in controlling these parasites. This book is therefore very useful for researchers, veterinarians and goat farmers.

Bhagandar resembles with the description of Fistula-in-ano as described in modern medical science. Fistula-in-ano implies a chronic granulating track connecting two epithelial lined surface i.e. anal canal and over skin surface.Though this disease is not life threatening but, it produces inconveniences in routine life.It causes discomfort and pain that creates problem in day to day activities. In spite of many modifications in surgical procedures, Fistula-in-ano still remains challenge even for a meticulous and skillful surgeon. The introduction of Ksharsutra into the fistulous tract was capable of dissolving the fibrous tissue and ultimately draining it out creating a healthy base for healing. In spite of all Kshara having same properties but the source plant also having its own characteristics to work upon particular doshas due to having different Ras, Guna, Virya, and Vipak. So the study was planned to evaluate efficacy as well as acceptability of all Ksharsutra and minimizes the discomfort and time period of treatment as well as recurrence of Fistula-in-ano.This book cantain data related to the management of different type of Bhagandar by different ksharsutra
Analysis of exhaust emissions from gas turbine combustors

Gas turbine combustor technology has developed gradually and continuously over the last 50 years. The close resemblance between various gas turbine combustors evolves from the basic need that is dictated largely by the length and frontal area to remain within the limits set by other engine components and incorporation of a diffuser (to minimize pressure loss) and liner (to provide stable operation over a wide range of air/fuel ratios). Despite the continued advances in gas turbine combustor technology, the challenge which a combustion engineer faces today to ingenuity in design is greater than ever before. Interest in the environment by scientists and the general public has evolved from the gradual deterioration in our air quality and the discovery of the Antarctic ozone hole, in addition to hot summers, greenhouse effect and increased smog in the cities. In addition, the energy conservation and higher conversion efficiencies remain on the priority list.
