Dr. Kazem Vadiei: born on 23. Sep. 1928 in Shiraz, Iran. Studied at the University of Tehran and graduated cole Normale Sup rieure in History, Geography, and Educational Studies. Received a PhD in Human and Economical Geography Studied from the Sorbonne in Paris. Professor of Geography at the University of Tabriz and Teheran from 1954 to 1979. Author of several scientific works on the geography of Iran. Created the Chair of Methodology, Geography and Rural Studies. Head of the Department of Rural Studies at the University of Tehran. Founded the Institute of Research and Teaching in Rural Cooperatives. Secretary of State in Labor and Social Affairs. With the coming of the Islamic Revolution in 1979, he was arrested and forced to leave his beloved country to live in France. While in France, he has always remained an opponent to all kinds of Fundamentalism and is a Defender of Human Rights, with the purpose of returning Democracy to Iran. Has published several books and hundreds of articles and papers about the social economic problems of Iran. Published the book, "Witness of the Time," 2007. He tirelessly continues to write papers, deliver lectures, and gives interviews (anytime and anywhere). In Goone Bood Pas The three stories in this book are in some way related to the social and political conditions of Iran during the early Islamic Revolution. In the first story, the emphasis is on the fact that part of society was neither revolutionary nor against it. These people loved their homeland and they did not want to leave their country. And maybe, they were willing to do some services to offset the tensions of the revolution. The second story is a tale about a corner of society that is aggressive toward women because of the influence of wrong traditional teachings. In the third story, the horror of the beginning of the revolution and the desire to rebuild the homeland; to live free and love each other free of dependency is portrayed.

Now, you'd think with $16.4 trillion of potentially taxable income the Federal Government would be able to glean $4.4 trillion to satisfy its needs without incurring a deficit...but no...the best guess-and it's only a guess-by the Dolts in DC is that the government will take in only $3.422 trillion thru September 30, 2019. With a problem as intractable as the national debt, you'd think some brilliant bureaucrat would suggest a common-sense solution. You'd think that someone might...but obviously, no one has...or at least no one in the government has.That's not a surprise. No one in the governmental universe wants to solve the problem. The bureaucrats thrive on playing the underfunded card and using a manipulative accounting process to guarantee more money next year regardless of need. The Red Sea was the main route connecting Rome to India the East. Its main facilitator was Palmyra a major trading nation that had grown wealthy from its strategic position on the east-west overland trade road routes, specifically the trade networks linking Mesopotamia and the Persian Gulf to the Roman Empire. During the second and third centuries this started to change and an increasing number of Palmyrene traders moved away from the Persian Gulf and started to use the route via the Red Sea. This work looks at the evidence of trade in both areas and considers how and to what extent it changed. It considers archaeological and written evidence, such as ostraka found at the Red Sea port of Berenice showing names of Palmyran traders, as well as ancient literary testimony. To understand why this started to happen I will provide a historical context. This will describe Palmyra's situation as a client state of Rome and how it maintained its neutrality or not in the conflicts with Parthia. Additionally we shall examine the impact that periodic warfare between Rome and the Parthians/Sassanians had on the traditional Mesopotamian-Persian Gulf route that was utilised by many Palmyrene merchants. Such conflict notably become pronounced under the Antonine and Severan emperors.
