Why would he ever want to go back to the 1700s?Before he became the Benjamin Franklin we know and love, there was one big lesson that Ben had to learn, and for that to happen, Divine Providence was forced to step in, suddenly transporting Franklin to San Francisco, during the 1960's Hippie / Flower Child era. There, befriended by a young Black man, Franklin is exposed to a completely different way of life, and a United States of America that he has never imagined in his wildest dreams. The adventures of Franklin and his new friend, Jeff, are comical, and Franklin is having the time of his life. But, every second that he is lost in the future, things in America are drastically changing for the worse, and Franklin realizes that if he doesn't return to the past, and soon, his entire family line, and the United States of America itself, will be completely wiped out of existence Will Franklin learn his lesson in time? And, if he does, how will he get back home?Benjamin Franklin: Time Tripper, blends history, fantasy, time travel, and comedy in this uniquely entertaining tale. Enjoy

INTRODUCTION TO LEADERSHIP- Dr. Allen Smith - Years ago, I preached a message on leadership in the church that I pastored at the time. Thismessage was not about the world concept about leadership. I was about the Biblical concept ofleadership. There is a big difference in the two concepts. This book takes a different look at leadership than you have ever seen before. It is more than a"How To" book. It gives you examples of different leadership styles and explains what is rightand what is wrong with each one. It points out things that I have never thought about before. There is no doubt that leadership is often misunderstood, and much of the time it is the leadersthemselves who are the ones who misunderstand leadership the most. This book does anexcellent job in bringing this fact out. With wisdom, wit, and biblical teaching, this book will give you a good foundation of what leadershipis. Leadership is not about titles, status, and power. Real leadership comes from a faithful life andhumble spirit. Real leadership qualities are God-given, and their true effectiveness can only bereached when they are used for the glory of God. Do not forget, God is more concerned about aleader's character than a leader's success. Finally, this book closes out with the biblical concept of leadership. I urge you to not only read it, butto study it. With this book and God's help, you can become the leader God wants you to be. Whenyou lean on the Lord and you learn from His example of perfect leadership, you will see livestransformed, beginning with your own

"Well Done? Growing in the Things of God" is a great tool that a growing Christian can use for refinement, education, and advancement in the Kingdom of God. Beginning with your place in "the body" of Christ, Pastor Benjamin Blankenship gives his account of his upbringing in the church, hearing his call to ministry, and what transpired thereafter. He shares the lessons learned to fervently inspire all followers of Christ to walk to a higher standard as outlined in The Word of God. Minister Eve Cook talks about bringing awareness of people's perception of you, sharing your faith, and being obedient to The Voice of God in every circumstance. Dr. Allen Smith gives the Biblical analogy of Revelation 3:5 and gives an illustration for the reader to see themselves and thus provoking to be in right standing with God. This book is a thought provoking read for any who calls themselves Christian. It will challenge what you think you know about living up to God's Biblical standard and propel you to want better from yourself.

The Athenian Assessment of 425 B.C. is a scholarly work by Benjamin Dean Meritt, published as part of the University of Michigan Studies in the Humanistic Series, Volume 33. The book offers a detailed analysis of the Athenian financial system during the Peloponnesian War, specifically focusing on the assessment of tribute payments made by the city's subject allies in 425 B.C.Meritt's work draws on a wide range of primary sources, including inscriptions, literary texts, and archaeological evidence, to reconstruct the complex workings of the Athenian financial system. He examines the various methods used to calculate tribute payments, the distribution of funds to different state institutions, and the role of the Athenian assembly in overseeing the financial affairs of the city. The book also provides a broader historical context for the Athenian Assessment, discussing the political and military events that shaped the city's financial policies during the Peloponnesian War. Meritt's analysis sheds light on the economic and political challenges faced by Athens during this period, and offers valuable insights into the workings of ancient Greek democracy.Overall, The Athenian Assessment of 425 B.C. is a rigorous and detailed study of one of the most important periods in Athenian history, and is an essential resource for scholars of ancient Greece and the Peloponnesian War.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.

Charlie is an old horse who has worked on a farm all his life. Now he spends his days in the shade of a cedar tree reminiscing of the bygones and particularly his old friends who are no longer there.Sometimes he looks at the sky and wonders if they are up there. "Yes," he thinks. "The sky is a good place to be."One sunny day Charlie is dozing off when he is disturbed by a young rabbit who calls himself Blue on account of the colour of his eyes. Blue is very curious about Charlie but the old horse doesn't wish for any company and tells him to go away. While playing nearby Blue is not aware of a hawk circling above and when it swoops down Charlie, old as he is, rushes to shield the young rabbit who doesn't even realise the danger. Finally Blue goes home but only to return the next day. Charlie is slightly annoyed. He tries to explain to the young rabbit as gently as possible that their friendship is not worthwhile because he is too old and he is not going to be there for long."Where will you go?" asks Blue innocently."In the sky," replies Charlie. "It's a good place to be.""It's beautiful," agrees Blue. Blue is so persistent and likeable and above all so funny that eventually the old horse succumbs to the young rabbit's antics and a bond forms between the two unlikely characters. The time that they have together is short but they make the most of it. They roam the countryside and Charlie points out to his young friend its beauties and dangers. Then the seasons change and the time for Charlie to go to the sky arrives."I'll always be there," Charlie tells Blue. "You watch out for me ""I will," smiles Blue....... And he's true to his promise.
