About the book "To Be Or Not To Be" In this the tenth book of the Make My Day series, we find another aspect of the author's multi-sided personality. An engineer and economist with a talent for mathematics, a poet and essayist with a talent for the communications arts, a businessman with the talent for making money - a Renaissance Man with the two sides of his brain equally developed and an IQ of 170 - he is also a lover of books, music and performance arts. In this book, Henares displays his love of the stage, of Shakespeare, and the musicals of Broadway. Here he writes of the Shakespeare in his life, "exploring the splendor and the meanness of the human spirit, the towering heights to which it can ascend, and the miry depths to which it can sink"; Julius Caesar, the shortest and most perfectly constructed of Shakespeare's plays; Romeo and Juliet, romantic Tragedy of Fate; and Hamlet, the complex Tragedy of Character. Here in this book he relates the stories of his favorite musical plays - Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon and Cats - including the full libretto of lyrics so that his readers may assume the role of bathroom tenors and sopranos singing in the shower along with the CDs. He added the romantic story of Cyrano who had an ugly nose and a big heart, and The Miracle Worker, the inspiring story of the blind and deaf Helen Keller and her blind teacher. He completes the volume with brilliant and incisive essays on Philippine History for those who flunked the course; on Rats, man's rival for the mastery of the earth; on why men of talent wear a woman's gown; the Philippine Statehood Movement; the dilemma of the Last Filipino; and Emilio Aguinaldo, the Father of our country. Present study examined the perceived benefits of mentoring, in direct opposition to not mentoring, for four USAF career-success influencing variables. Data derived from the November 2008 Status of Forces Survey of Active Duty Members from U.S. Air Force members (n = 2487) analyzed via independent sample t-test comparing mentored (n = 1745) and non-mentored (n = 742) Airmen. This research effort tested whether Airmen's' perceptions differed concerning overall stress, retention, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. Results indicate mentor-prot g relationships did not appear to impact perceived stress levels but did significantly influence perceptions of retention, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment for USAF members. Results indicate opportunities exist for USAF leaders to maximize benefits of mentoring to positively influence Airmen's perceptions of organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and turnover. Further research warranted on the impact of mentoring and perceived stress.

When the State of Israel was born, the surge of construction, development and industrialization was astounding. Dozens of new cities were constructed; hundreds of factories were built; thousands of kilometers of roads were paved; electrical consumption increased exponentially, as did air and maritime traffic. However, no one gave a thought to Israel's most precious resource: the environment. To Be or Not to Be is the history of the Environmental Management in Israel, from a tiny office in a flooded Jerusalem basement to a proper government ministry. It is also an autobiography, from the author's childhood in the besieged Jerusalem and newborn Kibbutz Nahal Oz, through the halls of academia and government, as he changed the face of Israel, challenging bureaucrats and plutocrats along the way. From the struggles over the Trans-Israel Highway and Ben Gurion Airport 2000, through the transition from coal to natural gas, to the future of solar energy and hydrogen fuel, the author asks: Have we been too successful? Has the essential battle for the world we leave our children become a tool for the cynical and the self-serving who scuttle crucial projects? Prof. Uri Marinov, the founder and director of the Environmental Protection Service (EPS) and the founder and first Director-General of the Ministry of Environment, also served as head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management at Haifa University. Today he teaches at the School of Sustainability at the Herzliya Interdisciplinary Center and serves as an environmental consultant in Israel and around the world.

Because human nature remains constant through the ages, the book's principles and philosophy are even more relevant today than when they were originally published. In the 1970s, this classic created a firestorm among critics, who relentlessly mis-characterised it as a guide to getting ahead by intimidating others. Readers, however, quickly discovered that it was really a book about how to defend yourself against intimidating people. The intimidator in someone's life at any given time might be a deal-killing attorney, overbearing boss or supervisor, annoying co-worker, petty bureaucrat, unreasonable client, or unscrupulous competitor. Now the timeless message of To Be or Not to Be Intimidated? can be applied to the problems of a whole new generation of people who are struggling to make sense out of today's world of chaos and uncertainty. The book explains, in candid terms, what intimidation is, why you become intimidated, and how you can avoid the mental lapses that can cause even the most successful people to sometimes fall victim to intimidation.

To Be Or Not To Be is the eighth book in the Sybil series and may prove to be one of the most upsetting. She is a reasonable government official trying to cope with an unreasonable world ruled by narcissistic sociopathic populists. The worst of the bunch is the Prime Minister of the UK--Brexit Style. She becomes embroiled in spy v. spy, navy v. navy, and ally v. ally in the most touchy, confusing, and changeable adventure of her action-packed career. It is exhausting and anxiety provoking for her and for the president who is ill.

For many years, all Anabaptist groups embodied their Gospel beliefs and values in distinctive cultural norms to which all members were held accountable. We currently hear that such forms are imposed "man-made rules" that militate against a genuine personal experience with Christ. This booklet investigates the following questions: Has God ever endorsed "man-made rules"?Do distinctive cultural norms violate the Gospel?Does a relaxing of distinctive cultural norms lead to greater evangelistic success? If "the past is prologue," what can we learn from groups that relaxed their distinctive practices?Answering these questions is important, because decisions have consequences, and wise believers base their decisions on the consequences they desire.

This book looks at numerous perspectives on happiness and well-being found the world over, the ways they differ and relate, how modern and historical science support them, and where they are affected by economics, social influences, and even our own minds.
