Les bases th oriques sont pr sent es de mani re logique et progressive au fil des chapitres.Pour des fins p dagogiques, ce manuel entame en premier lieu la technologie de tissage et les notions fondamentales sur les tissus et les armures, dans le premier et le deuxi me chapitre respectivement. Une fois ces concepts bien ma tris s, le lecteur pourra dans les chapitres suivants aborder la phase de pr paration au tissage dans toutes ses tapes, allant du bobinage jusqu'au ensouplage. Le dernier chapitre portera sur l'ourdissage et les calculs n cessaires avant la prodcution. Une valuation pourra tre faite par le lecteur en r pondant la fin de ce manuscrit aux diff rentes questions des exercices d'applications. Il faut rappeler que cet ouvrage doit tre consid r comme une base, sur lequel viendront se greffer les applications particuli res que l'enseignant aimera y ajouter dans le cadre de son cours.

Ce travail porte sur le d veloppement de l'enseignement technique depuis ses d buts en 1928 jusqu' la fusion des deux mati res. Les bases th oriques de l' lectrotechnique sont d finies et l'histoire de l' lectricit ainsi que ses r percussions sur la soci t sont expliqu es. La mise en oeuvre pratique de ce th me dans l'enseignement technique est galement d crite. Une tude qualitative a permis de constater que les contenus lectrotechniques sont de plus en plus n glig s depuis la fusion des deux mati res. Une seule pi ce est fabriqu e par ann e scolaire en 7e et 8e ann e, et l'int r t des enfants pour ce sujet est d crit comme constant, bien que l' lectrotechnique gagne de plus en plus en importance.
