"From Chap to Champion" is a sequel to an earlier book titled "The Legendary Warrior Mindset". Both of them have a common central theme: "Greatness is something achievable and it begins from the mind." The book also goes with the subtitle "In the build up to greatness", to essentially paint a complete picture of the kind of possibilities that abound to the every-day regular person, who could go from being just another chap to becoming the best in the very same field. "From Chap to Champion" has this fast paced, power packed conversational mode to it. You are spurred to keep reading because it paints a virtual but very clear picture before you - transposing the reader into an almost exact mode of perspective being described. It is a great ignition to fuel your passion, and improve your mindset. The transition is quite excellent, leading to a peak ending. With lots of favorite topics to choose from; one of the many best -"The Dynamics of Motivation: Creative Leadership on the Home Turf" is a wowing piece. The picture content also adds a lot of bite to the message. In similar fashion to the "The Legendary Warrior Mindset", each piece in the book has been put up as a post on the weblog "Motivational Thoughts and Insights" at one time or the other, spanning a period of one year. Essentially greatness begins from the mind, and the journey from being the chap to becoming the champion is the process referred to as the build-up. What happens during this span can go a long way to influence the eventual outcome. As such, "From Chap to Champion" is a fully loaded read for anyone who intends to achieve greatness.

A facsimile edition of two probably unique, and undescribed before this books publication in 1969, early sixteenth-century Spanish verse chap-books, printed at Burgos and Salamanca between 1510 and 1520. Mr Norton and Professor Wilson provide a substantial introduction on their literary or bibliographical importance, and a supplementary checklist of Spanish chap-books before 1521. The first of the chap-books has four leaves, and gives important early printed forms of six ballad texts. The second has six leaves and is a nonsense poem. The first is interesting to students of folk-literature; both illustrate the survival of medieval topics and writing styles, and the mingling of oral and printed traditions in early sixteenth-century Spain.
