Through Her Eyes - The Life of Lady Fatema Al Zahra (S.A)
Through Her Eyes: The Life of Lady Fatema al-Zahra (SA) She was known by many names- al-Zahra, the Radiant One; al-Batul, the Pure; al-Siddiqa, the Truthful; Umm Abiha, the Mother of Her Father. Yet behind every title was a young woman whose life carried extraordinary strength, profound love, and a heartbreaking courage rarely seen in history. This book invites you to step into her world- not through distant narration, but through her eyes, from the moment she entered the Prophet's home as a miracle child, to her final breath as the heart of his household. Walk with her through nights of revelation. Stand with her in moments of loss and resilience. Witness her devotion as a daughter, a wife, a mother, a guiding light. See how she protected her father, supported her husband, raised her children with compassion, and faced injustice with dignity beyond words. Written in vivid, emotional vignette style and rooted entirely in classical sources, this work brings Lady Fatema al-Zahra (sa) closer to readers than ever before. It is a story of faith, of courage, of a woman whose light did not fade with her passing a light that has inspired hearts for centuries and continues to shine today. Open these pages, and discover why the world still whispers her titles, still seeks her strength, and still remembers her as the Lady of Light.

How I Defeated Cancer-Fight Back, Stay Positive, Life is Good
This book has a special effect that draws the attention of senses and led the mind to search beyond the words of the author.Memories of a young woman shaped her life and vision of the future to challenge the contraries in order to realize the progression. Contraries is not a belief in opposites but rather a belief that each person reflects the contrary nature of the reaction, and that progression in life is impossible without contraries.Simple words describe the events of her memories that every time reacts to what is hidden behind these words, is a deep call for freedom and the rights of each individual to select his/her life regardless of the meaning of external factors such as religion and social norms. She is calling for happiness and joy. There is a major difference between happiness and joy. Happiness in life is transitory, dependent on circumstances. Joy continues regardless of trials. The book encourages the young to work for realizing their objectives and stand the difficulties may they face, at the same time let the grown-up enjoy the success of a young girl move from one continent to another and establish stability and enjoy happiness overcoming all difficulties. The author has a wealth of knowledge and experience waiting for her great successes in her future books.--Dr. Nizar Sofani

Aromatics, cosmetics and personal adornment have had a major role in the evolution of human society, particularly in the cradles of civilization between the Nile and the Indus. Far from being concerned with the frivolities of vain pursuits, their study touches on religion, cosmology, rituals and magic, life and the afterlife, sexuality and procreation, artistic expression, technology, craftsmanship, aesthetics, administrative structures, long-distance trade and cross-cultural exchanges – in sum, all the essentials that underpin human civilization. This richly illustrated book provides a history of luxury items from the Neolithic period to late Antiquity. Egyptian and Mesopotamian cosmetics are discussed first, along with the vast region between the Nile and the Indus, with the Iranian plateau at its core. Through the latter, the book ventures westwards to the Greco-Roman world and eastwards to the Indian subcontinent and China. The differing focus of each chapter gives a fuller picture of the global role of aromatics, cosmetics and jewellery within a broader civilizational framework that includes archaeological discoveries that have come to light in the last six decades.

Does Islam as a religion oppress women? Is Islam against democracy? In this classic study, internationally renowned sociologist Fatema Mernissi argues that women's oppression is not due to Islam because this religion celebrates women's power. Women's oppression, she maintains, is due to political manipulation of religion by power-seeking, archaic Muslim male elites. Mernissi explains that early Muslim scholars portrayed women as aggressive hunters who forced men, reduced to weak hunted victims, to control women by imposing institutions such as veiling, which confined women to the private space. In her new introduction, she argues that women's aggressive invasion of the 500-plus Arab satellite channels in the twenty-first century, including as commanding show anchors, film and video stars, supports her theory that Islam as a religion celebrates female power.
