In 2002, Ilan Hirshberg defined a C*-algebra associated with endomorphisms of abelian groups with finite cokernel. In fact, it was a starting point of new constructions associating C*-algebras to simple objects like groups, semigroups and rings. In this book, we present a natural continuation of that work, we construct the same C*-algebra for endomorphisms with infinite cokernel. We use the subset structure of the group to index interesting projections in the C*-algebra and present interesting connections with the semigroup C*-algebras defined by Xin Li. We also calculate some K-groups associated to such constructions.

Hacer revisiones constructivas de las decisiones de los jueces es de utilidad para la democracia. En esta monograf a se pretende hacer una revisi n detallada del precedente construido por la Corte Suprema de Justicia (-CSJ-) sobre la figura del interviniente, la cual se encuentra incorporada en el inciso final del art culo 30 del C digo Penal colombiano, con relaci n al delito de contrato sin cumplimiento de requisitos legales del art culo 410 del C digo Penal (C.P.). Para esto, se construye una l nea jurisprudencial que se analiza desde el enfoque dogm tico con el fin de estudiar si el tratamiento que la jurisprudencia de la CSJ le da a la categor a delictiva denominada interviniente es la m s ajustada a los postulados de la dogm tica penal con base en planteamientos hallados en doctrina. As las cosas, el objetivo principal del trabajo consiste en estudiar el precedente de la CSJ con relaci n a la figura del interviniente en los delitos de infracci n de deber contra la contrataci n estatal y, desde all , decantar la correcta interpretaci n dogm tica de la instituci n, poniendo de presente posibles problemas frente a los principios de legalidad y tipicidad estricta.

Obwohl das Land als weltweit gr ter Produzent gilt, geh rt es nicht zu den gr ten Exporteuren, da der Inlandsverbrauch gr er ist als die Produktion. Ein h ufig diskutierter Aspekt ist die Gewinnung von S mlingen guter Qualit t, wobei nachhaltige Alternativen f r deren Produktion gefunden werden m ssen. Pflanzen haben im Laufe der Evolution komplexe Anpassungsmechanismen entwickelt, von denen viele nur dank der Interaktion mit Mikroorganismen, insbesondere Endophyten, m glich sind. Endophytische Mikroorganismen sind potenziell n tzlich f r die Landwirtschaft und die Industrie. Verschiedene ausgew hlte Arten von Endophyten, wie z. B. Bakterien, k nnen in der Pestizidindustrie eingesetzt werden und werden auch als genetische Vektoren verwendet. Das Interesse an der Verwendung von Endophyten in der Landwirtschaft, beispielsweise zur F rderung des Pflanzenwachstums, zur biologischen Bek mpfung von Sch dlingen und Pflanzenkrankheiten sowie f r andere Anwendungen, hat zugenommen, da man davon ausgeht, dass sie potenzielle Ersatzstoffe f r chemische Produkte in der Natur sind.
