Poesie Inedite a Giulia Falletti Di Barolo Conservate Nell'archivio Storico Del Comune Di Saluzzo
Poesie Inedite a Giulia Falletti Di Barolo

Cooking alla Giudia is the ultimate tribute to the wonderfully rich, yet still largely unknown, culinary heritage of the Jews of Italy. From Roman deep-fried artichokes (carciofi alla giudia) to Venetian sarde in saor (sweet-and-sour sardines), Apulian orecchiette pasta, and Sicilian caponata, some of Italy’s best-known dishes are Jewish in origin. But little is known about the Jewish people in Italy and their culinary traditions. It was the Jews, for example, who taught Italians to eat the eggplant, and thus helped inspire the classic eggplant parmigiana and many other local specialties. With a collection of kosher recipes from all regions of Italy, including plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, author Benedetta Jasmine Guetta is on a mission to tell the story of how the Jews changed Italian food, to preserve these recipes, and to share with home cooks the extraordinary dishes prepared in the Jewish communities of Italy. Highlighted throughout the book are menus with regional Italian specialties, along with short, useful guides to the Italian cities with Jewish history. The book will show how to integrate the recipes into your everyday meals and holiday traditions as well.
ALFA ROMEO GIULIA WORKSHOP MANUAL 1962-1975 ALL MODELS 1300, 1600, 1750 & 2000cc
338 pages, with more than 700 illustrations and charts, size 8.25 x 10.75 inches. It should be noted that Alfa Romeo never published an 'all inclusive' workshop manual for the Giulia series of automobiles. Instead, they produced a number of individual 'Mechanical Repair' publications that were focused on the overhaul and service of various mechanical and electrical components plus individual 'Technical Characteristics' publications that provided model specific information. The intention was that these two separate publications were to be used in conjunction with each other in order to provide both technical and mechanical data for a particular model. This manual is compiled using data from seven of those factory 'Mechanical Repair' publications plus a number of additional pages of maintenance, repair, overhaul and wiring diagrams that were not included in the factory publications. Consequently, it provides a generic 'Workshop Manual' for the repair and overhaul of the 1965-1971 Giulia series of automobiles. However, as the 1962-1975 series of Alfa models shared many of the same mechanical components, these 'Mechanical Repair' publications are also of use to owners of both the earlier and later models. For example, even though the engines were of four different capacities they are sufficiently alike for a single set of instructions to suffice for their maintenance and overhaul. The additional pages in this manual include maintenance and repair information on: Drum brakes, hydraulic braking system, Dunlop disc brakes and additional information on ATE disc brakes. Front hubs, shock absorbers and stabilizer rod, ZF steering box, Burman steering box, steering linkage and steering adjustments. Electrical components including control box, regulator, generator, starter motor, windscreen wiper motor (both Bosch & Marelli), lamps and lighting and wiring diagrams for 14 different models. The factory 'Mechanical Repair' publications included in this Manual are: 1) Engine, Clutch & Gearbox Manual for the 1600 Giulia TI, Sprint GT & TI Super. 2) Propeller Shaft, Rear Axle & Suspension for the Giulia 1300, 1300TI the Giulia 1600 TI Super, Sprint GT, GTC, TI, Super, Sprint GT Veloce & Spider 1600. 3) ATE Disc Brakes all models, as appropriate. 4) Wheel, Suspension & Front End Geometry, for all Giulia and 1750 Models. 5) Electrical for the 1600 Giulia Super, 1750 Berlina, 1750 GT Veloce & 1750 Spider Veloce. 6) Air Conditioning all models, as appropriate. 7) Body, for all Giulia and 1750 Models. The importance of using the Alfa Romeo Factory 'Technical Characteristics' publications in conjunction with this Manual: As noted previously, Alfa Romeo also issued a specific 'Technical Characteristics' publication for each individual model (or series of models). While these publications were issued under a variety of different titles, they would be considered to be predominately 'Technical Maintenance & Specifications Manuals'. As these publications were meant to be used in conjunction with the factory 'Mechanical Repair' publications, we feel it is important that the reader is made aware of the associated technical manuals that compliment this workshop manual. Bradt Travel Guides

This new title continues Bradt's coverage of lesser-known but increasingly popular Italian regions and is the only guide available to Friuli Venezia Giulia, a region that forms the major part of the hinterland of Venice (but does not - despite the name - include Venice itself), and which is a convenient and fascinating place to spend time on the beach, in the Alps or relaxing in the country. It is notable also for its wines and distinctive cuisine, which, with touches of neighbouring Austria and Slovenia stirred in, are starting to attract attention around the world. Written by long-time travel authors and Italy specialists Dana Facaros and Michael Pauls, background and practical information are complemented by ten easy-to-follow chapters, covering Trieste, its coast and the Carso, the Friuli coast, Gorizia and the Collio, Udine, Pordenone and Western Friuli, and the mountains: the Friulian Dolomites, Carnia and the Julian Alps. Set in Italy's northeastern corner, Friuli Venezia Giulia is one of the most ethnically and culturally diverse parts of the country - and also one of the least known. With Bradt's Friuli Venezia Giulia, explore this small but varied region in detail, from the Alps of the north to the coastal resorts, unspoiled wetlands and lagoons, and from medieval towns like Cividale del Friuli to the strange desert steppe called the Magredi and the lovely wine region of Il Collio. Discover the regional capital, caffeine-mad Trieste, where there are 67 different ways of ordering a cup of coffee, and Gorizia, one of the biggest battle fronts of World War I, which survives almost intact, with miles of trenches and fortifications open for exploration. Bradt's Friuli Venezia Giulia offers everything you need for a successful trip.

This new, thoroughly updated second edition of Friuli Venezia Giulia continues Bradt's coverage of lesser-known but increasingly popular Italian regions. Forming much of the hinterland of Venice (but not - despite the name - including Venice itself), Friuli Venezia Giulia is a convenient and fascinating destination for spending time on the beach, in the Alps or relaxing in the countryside. It is celebrated also for its wines and distinctive cuisine, which are attracting worldwide attention. Written by long-time travel authors and Italy specialists Dana Facaros and Michael Pauls, and updated by Mediterranean afficionado Julian McDonnell, detailed background and practical information about this ethnically and culturally diverse region are complemented by ten easy-to-follow chapters, providing in-depth city guides to Trieste and Udine, alongside covering the Trieste coast and the Carso, the Friuli coast, Gorizia and the Collio, Pordenone and Western Friuli, and the mountains: the Friulian Dolomites, Carnia and the Julian Alps. With Bradt's Friuli Venezia Giulia, explore this small but varied region in detail, from the Alps to coastal resorts, unspoiled wetlands and lagoons, and from medieval towns like Cividale del Friuli to the Megredi, a strange desert steppe, and the lovely wine region of Il Collio. New elements of this edition include itineraries covering food, wine and culture - so prepare to eat authentic cured meats in San Daniele del Friuli or Montasio cheese in the natal region of celebrity chef Lidia Bastianich. For something different, enjoy antiquities such as the Lombards Temple, marvel at the Roman ruins of Aquileia, explore the karst caves and numerous villages of the Carso plateau, board a boat to go birdwatching on the Grado lagoon, cycle through the green wilderness to Magredi Natural Park or ski in the Dolomites. Whatever floats your holiday boat, Bradt's Friuli Venezia Giulia offers everything you need for a successful trip.
