Im Gedichtzyklus 1984-2017 von Ines Hagemeyer wird die Fremdheit zwei- und zwiesprachig gebannt. Es ist das ganze Leben, nicht nur ein erlebter Teil, nicht nur die politische Vergangenheit und der Tod, der Meister aus Deutschland, ist das Thema. Flucht: "aus der Wiege gesp lt an einen wei en Strand ..." und zweisprachige Kindheit: das famili re Deutsch einerseits, Spanisch in Uruguay andererseits: "bezweifelte Einwurzelung" (R ckblende). So wird die Sprache die eigentliche Heimat, obwohl auch immer wieder ein "Absturz der Worte" (inh rent) droht - das Nichtbegreifenk nnen des erfahrenen Grauens. Nichts aber w re das Leben ohne das Suchen nach Worten und S tzen, um die eigene Existenz und die Fremde zu begreifen, die uns umgibt, und die "Ersch tterung die dich zwischen T r & Angel kalt erwischt hat" ... "die ererbte Asche aus heiterem Himmel". Asche und Sand ... sind nicht zu tragen ohne Hoffnung: "die Last deiner V ter gebeugt zu tragen brauchst du nicht mehr" (Vision II). Aber qu lend vertraut bleiben die "langen Schatten der Mythen" - und der eigene Tod am Ende des Lebens. Es liegt manchmal eine Melancholie in den Versen, deren Sch nheit bedrohlich glei t und in die Augen brennt. Schmerzende Wahrheit: homo homini lupus. Und doch - die Kindheit war "nicht nur Schatten und Alb", es gab "bunte Bl tter" und duftende Erde (Herbst). Und es gibt die Poesie der Sprache Im "Lied f r Gitarre" hei t es: "was das Gedicht sagt wenn es schweigt h llt sich in Stille ohne zu verstummen". Also gibt es doch Hoffnung auf Sagbares und auf Verstehen, auf bersetzung der Stille in Wissen und Antwort. In einem der sch nsten Gedichte, "Lied f r Madrid", scheint das Leben hart und starr und leblos, und doch gibt es "in meinem Wald aus Stein benetzte Utopie weht sanft eine Brise tr gt meine Haut ein Lied". This is the first international monograph on the French artist Inès Longevial.Inès Longevial is a French painter based in Paris. She started drawing and painting at a very young age, first showing her work on Instagram, where she had an immediate success in terms of visibility. Since then her career has been growing fast, thanks to the support of the Parisian gallery Ketabi-Bourdet and to solo shows in Paris and New York.Her oil paintings and drawings focus on two main themes: femininity and nature. Bodies, faces, and skin are shaped by light and color, and different palettes reflect different emotions—sometimes soft and sensual, sometimes intense, strong, and violent. The artist approaches her memories in color and gives form to candid and absorbed faces that embody the nostalgia of seasons, sunsets, shades of light, and caresses.Originally from the southwest of France but with family in the Basque Country, she’s been close to Spanish culture; Pedro Almodóvar’s colorful world and Pablo Picasso’s lines rank among her main influences. Through large oil portraits on linen canvas and on paper, the artist follows an intimate injunction: “to make the face speak.” Her face—her faces—have always taken on the appearance of a landscape, sculpted by infinite shades of gleam, carved by valleys, traversed by shadows.The book presents a significant selection of paintings and drawings, and includes pages of her sketchbook, a kind of intimate diary showing her inspiration and her spontaneous approach to painting. It is the first monographic publication on a promising young talent, with great potential.
