Unter allen Vorw rfen gegen ber Journalisten ist "fehlende Objektivit t" der wohl am meisten geh rte. Der Grund daf r ist, dass diesem Vorwurf, beispielsweise im Gegensatz zur Bezichtigung einer L ge, keine strikten Kriterien zu Grunde liegen. So kann jeder, dessen Standpunkt sich in einem journalistischen Beitrag nicht wieder findet, unabh ngig von dessen Wahrheit oder Wichtigkeit, den Journalisten an den Pranger stellen. Ob eine ungerechte Gewichtung der Argumente, ungen gende Genauigkeit bei der Recherche oder der subjektive Standpunkt des Berichtenden - dem Journalisten scheint wohl grunds tzlich der neutrale berblick ber seine Geschichte zu fehlen. Doch was bedeutet eigentlich "Objektivit t"? Ein solch verschwommener Begriff sollte zun chst erst einmal definiert werden. Erst darauf aufbauend kann man einzelne Kriterien aufstellen und Forderungen an den Journalisten formulieren. Zudem stellt sich die Frage, ob Objektivit t berhaupt eine grunds tzliche Eigenschaft von gutem Journalismus sein sollte. Sind es nicht gerade Interpretationen der Realit t, die Journalismus ausmachen? Im Rahmen dieser Hausarbeit m chte ich mich mit diesen Fragen auseinandersetzen. Meine Problemstellung lautet dabei: Ist Objektivit t im Journalismus m glich und generell erstrebenswert? Dazu werde ich, wie bereits erw hnt, zun chst den Begriff "Objektivit t" ausleuchten und definieren. Im Anschluss m chte ich die Besonderheiten journalistischer Objektivit t herausstellen und mir darauf aufbauend aus der Literatur die verschiedenen Konzeptionen von Objektivit t im Journalismus
