Och hon ber alla krafter som finns om hjälp, tills de en dag lyssnar Barnen är det viktigaste vi har, och vårt gemensamma ansvar, säger författaren Anette Skåhlberg. Hon vill att alla barn vågar säga nej. Inte för att visa att de kan, utan för att vägra att ha ett liv där de inte mår bra. Med boken hoppas hon ge styrkan till de som kan känna igen sig, eller också väcka tankar hos andra som kan hjälpa de barn som behöver. Tillsammans blir vi starkare, säger hon, och menar att om vi alla kunde SE varandra bättre och vad vi går igenom, så kunde fler må bättre och våga säga ifrån. Vi är alla en del av det som händer. Varenda en av oss är skyldiga om vi ser men ingenting gör. Hon fortsätter med kraft i rösten. Ja för överallt omkring oss pågår det. Vi ser det inte. Många gånger för att vi inte vill. Men det finns där. Och det är andra som får ta den största smällen. Den största kampen. Att vara barn och känna sig otrygg i sitt eget hem. Att inte vara säker på när det ska smälla. När det ska bli inte bara kaos utan ett helvete. När det inte finns något som lugna stunder. Eller mys. Utan själva myset består av frånvaron av våldet. Oavsett om det är fysiskt eller psykiskt. Därför har jag skrivit Amulettringen Det är jag som är Nadja. För att synliggöra de barn som inte har en trygg verklighet där de blir sedda som just barn. Och för att ge barnen en historia som stärker dem att förstå att de kan säga ifrån, att de kan säga nej. Boken släpps som pocket men finns även som ljudbok.
