With this writing, I am proposing a radical shift for us. While exile has happened before, this proposal lays out an agreement for a voluntary structuring which could bring great freedom to taxpayers. I continue to start discussions about things that could make a difference in the relationship between the jailed and the jailers and everybody else involved with either group of people. It seems that little has changed for a long time and it may be time to analyze what is and change it to what was or what could be. Density of humans within a confined space can lead to a tension that can at times be unhealthy. Prisons seem to accentuate the negative and complicate constructive relationships. If we can send people to a place that they would rather be and close the door to those no longer wanting to be with us while we have truncated the costs to our taxpayers then we have taken control and chosen wisely. -- Also Please Know The Following: 1. If someone who was not invited came to my house and got their foot in the front door, I would not invite them to stay until they could work out the problems of their life. Yes, I understand that many families have that issue and deal with it but it is not family that I am describing. People who cross the border illegally are not invited and my big question is - "Why can't we show them the way to the exit instead of three hots and a cot". I would invite newscasters throughout the country to consider that question and ask the appropriate authorities. Liberty is a primary motivation for the founders of the nation and respect for everybody is a key to my outlook on life. While the immigration issue is not going away anytime soon, I propose herewith an unusual and hopefully helpful idea that may help somewhat in the most devastating circumstances for individuals. Could we give trespassing non-criminals a choice to stay or go home?

Job Prospects can be significant to the security and peace of many prisoners who expect to be free someday. Just the idea of a possibility for a positive outcome could be enough to raise spirits and cultivate a cooperative demeanor. Emotional peace or the lack thereof can have a lot to do with how prisoners act and react. Even with a bit of peace and soothing, it may not be enough for those who have been addicted, but that should not stop the effort. One step at a time is an old perspective builder. Highs and lows in life pass eventually, the sting of the present is part of the motivation for those with addiction habits. The problem with addiction is that which is used to soothe the pain evolves into an expansiveness of the problem. The goal would be to find acceptable legal substitutes for the addiction substance of choice that can be used without contraindication complications.
