Ich (Joe Businger) erz hle von meiner Zeit in der Schweiz und Kanada. Aufgewachsen bin ich in der Schweiz im Schweizer Landmillieu. Die Erz hlung ist vom Zeitabschnitt vor meiner Auswanderung nach Kanada von 1946 bis 1967 und danach von 1967 bis in die 70 er und zum Teile 80 er Jahren in Kanada. Geboren nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg, verlebte ich eine sch ne Zeit in der Schweiz, wo es mich mein gesamtes leben, sp ter in Kanada und bis heute, zehren konnte. Was bewegte mich als junger Schweizer aus solch einem Idyll nach bersee zu gehen? Der Enge der Schweiz zu entrinnen? Oder.............. . Heute lebe ich in Deutschland mit meiner Frau.

Using numerical integration, it is possible to predict the individual motions of a group of a few celestial objects interacting with each other gravitationally. In this introduction to the few-body problem, a key figure in developing more efficient methods over the past few decades summarizes and explains them, covering both basic analytical formulations and numerical methods.
