She's relocated to a small coastal town where she's managed to not only land her dream job, but now the perfect fianc . No one suspects she came from anything other than a respectable New York upbringing. GAVIN MATTHEWS broke the number one rule of being undercover: Don't let it get personal. He still can't put his time with the Sinner's Breed MC behind him even after being released from protective custody. He spends his time looking for ways he could have saved the girl he accidentally fell in love with. When their one connection is released from prison, it becomes Gavin's job to protect Casey once again. This time, underneath the person she's trying to be, she's even more broken than she was before and Gavin knows he's the source of her pain. He has to convince her he's the same person she once knew while proving he will do anything to make things right-even if it means becoming a part of her charade. They say it takes a saint to save a sinner. Sometimes, it takes a sinner to save a saint. Due to its graphic portrayal of strong language, sex, and violence, this book is recommended for mature audiences only.
Stephanie Blake s hilarious and irreverent little bunny will tickle kids funny bones Little bunny dear only says one thing: Poop-di-doop He says it in the morning, he says it at lunchtime, he says it in the evening. . . . What will he say when he meets a hungry wolf? Blake s books about this big-eared little bunny have delighted children around with world with their bold, bright colors and offbeat humor "
"Blake the Snake" not only focuses on the long vowel A sound, but also teaches us about the importance of trying new things and that it is okay if we sometimes do not like something we tried. We will never know if we like something unless we try it. Also, something that someone else may love, we may not like and that is okay because we are all unique and we all like different things in life. Learning to read can be very difficult for children. It is important that the steps are small enough to ensure success. Many early reading children's books immediately cover all short and long vowel sounds together, which is very confusing for first time readers. Through my research, I have found that it is very important to introduce the vowel sounds one at a time. Since there are so many first time reading books that blend too many words with too many vowel sounds together this can be frustrating for children and sometimes makes them want to shut down and give up. Therefore, I created these books so that children can build their confidence when reading. Each book focuses on a particular vowel sound and starts out with simple words for success. This book focuses on the long vowel A sound. First, practice the focus words with your child that are in each book. Next, each book is meant to be read by the parent to the child, then together, and eventually let the child try on their own. When reading the books, point to each word and each sound as you read it. Then, work on blending the sounds as you point to each sound with the child. Continue practicing the focus words in each book and reading to and with your child. Since each book focuses on one vowel sound, it helps them to succeed in building their reading skills by working on one book and therefore one vowel sound at a time. As your child builds confidence in one book, they can move to the next. Happy reading

Lavishly illustrated with seventy-four color plates and fifty black-and-white photographs and drawings, ""Never for Want of Powder"" tells the story of a world-class munitions factory constructed by the Confederacy in 1861, the only large-scale permanent building project undertaken by a government often characterized as lacking modern industrial values. In this comprehensive examination of the powder works, five scholars - a historian, physicist, curator, architectural historian, and biographer - bring their combined expertise to the task of chronicling gunpowder production during the Civil War. In doing so, they make a major contribution to understanding the history of wartime technology and Confederate ingenuity. Early in the war, President Jefferson Davis realized the Confederacy's need to supply its own gunpowder. Accordingly Davis selected Col. George Washington Rains to build a gunpowder factory. An engineer and West Point graduate, Rains relied primarily on written pamphlets rather than on practical experience in building the powder mill, yet he succeeded in designing a model of efficiency and safety. He sited the facilities at Augusta, Georgia, because of the city's central location, canal transportation, access to water power, railroad facilities, and relative security from attack. Today a lone chimney along the Savannah River stands as the only reminder of the munitions facility that once occupied that site. With its detailed reproductions of architectural and mechanical schematics and its expansive vista on the Confederacy, ""Never for Want of Powder"" restores the ""Augusta Powder Works"" to its rightful place in American lore.
