I started writing over 20 yrs ago. My memory takes me back to the first thoughts that I had when out walking my dogs through Fordell Estate. The sights and sounds of the surrounding woodland, the old trees and smells of nature. So THE BEAST OF FORDELL was created. I write about Health, Fiction, Life, Nature and political subjects. In fact, anything that comes into my mind I will try to create a poem about it. That is when I took up the pen, so to speak. This book traces the presence of the theater, both as an abstract concept and a literal space, in the plays and poetry of Gertrude Stein and Wallace Stevens as it attempts to explain the parallel depictions of consciousness that are found in both authors' work. Literary modernists inherited a self that was fallible, a self that was seen as an ultimately failed gesture of expression, and throughout much modern literature is a sense of disillusionment with more traditional notions of selfhood. As more conventional ways of thinking about consciousness became untenable, so too did conventional models of artistic expression.This book shows how Stein and Stevens provide powerful examples of this modern attempt to stage the new subject.

She was able to make it into her home and blockade the door with her body, her husband shot her through the door. That same year "he" stood at the the threshold of his mother and fathers bedroom door with a knife in his right hand, confronting his father and prepared to kill him if he continued to assault his mother. "Take your mutha fucking hands off my mama " Those words should have never been spoken by a 11 year old boy.This book "Steven" represents the horrors of domestic violence.
