This study presents a case study on the effectiveness of a suggested podcast-dictogloss-based strategy in enhancing the listening skills of intermediate-levelstudents at the Arab Open University (AOU) in Egypt. The study involved 60 participants from different majors studying a compulsory English language course; they participated for a period of a 16-week semester. Two podcasts from BBC radio were selected in compliance with the topic of the required lesson. Data were collected through pre-and post-tests, application of dictogloss strategy, as well as a questionnaire to measure students' perception. The pre-and post-test results were analyzed using paired t-tests. The results of the study revealed a significant improvement in the participants' listening skills after engaging in the suggested podcast-dictogloss-based strategy. This enhancement was evident in theirperformance in the post-test, which showed a remarkable increase in their listening proficiency. Additionally, the perceptions towards the strategy were generally positive as indicated by the analysis of their responses to the questionnaire.

Die Endoskopie des Verdauungstrakts, die die sophageal-duodenale Fibroskopie und die Koloskopie umfasst, ist bei Erkrankungen des Verdauungstrakts unerl sslich. Das Pflegepersonal spielt bei diesen Untersuchungen eine wichtige Rolle. Unser Ziel war es, die Rolle des Krankenpflegers im Endoskopieraum zu untersuchen. Wir haben einen Fragebogen mit 20 Krankenpflegern ausgef llt. Zwei Drittel der Befragten hatten keine Ausbildung im Bereich der Verdauungsendoskopie. Als m gliche Komplikationen der Endoskopie nannten die Krankenschwestern Blutungen im Verdauungstrakt, Perforationen im Verdauungstrakt, Infektionen, Atembeschwerden und Herz-Kreislauf-Beschwerden. Die Schwierigkeiten, mit denen die befragten Krankenpfleger konfrontiert waren, waren Arbeitsbelastung, Personalmangel, Materialmangel und fehlende bzw. mangelhafte Ausbildung. Etwa 3/4 der Befragten gaben an, dass eine st ndige Weiterbildung erforderlich ist. Zusammenfassend l sst sich sagen, dass das Pflegepersonal eine wichtige St tze in der Endoskopie des Verdauungstraktes darstellt, aber eine st ndige Weiterbildung ben tigt.

Digestive endoscopy, which includes oesogastro-duodenal fibroscopy and colonoscopy, is indispensable in digestive pathologies. Nurses play a major role in these examinations. Our aim was to study the role of the nurse in the digestive endoscopy room. We carried out a questionnaire with 20 nurses. 2/3 of those questioned had no training in digestive endoscopy. The possible complications of endoscopy cited by the nurses were digestive haemorrhage, digestive perforation, infection, respiratory disorders and cardiovascular problems. The difficulties encountered by the nurses surveyed were workload, staff shortages, lack of equipment and lack of training. Around 3/4 of those surveyed mentioned the need for ongoing training. In conclusion, nurses are the backbone of digestive endoscopy, but they need ongoing training.

L'endoscopia digestiva, che comprende la fibroscopia esogastro-duodenale e la colonscopia, indispensabile nelle patologie dell'apparato digerente. Gli infermieri svolgono un ruolo importante in questi esami. Il nostro obiettivo stato quello di studiare il ruolo dell'infermiere nella sala di endoscopia digestiva. Abbiamo realizzato un questionario con 20 infermieri. Le possibili complicanze dell'endoscopia citate dagli infermieri erano emorragia digestiva, perforazione digestiva, infezioni, problemi respiratori e cardiovascolari. Le difficolt incontrate dagli infermieri intervistati sono state il carico di lavoro, la mancanza di personale, la mancanza di attrezzature e la mancanza di formazione. Circa i 3/4 degli intervistati hanno menzionato la necessit di una formazione continua. In conclusione, gli infermieri rappresentano un pilastro nella sala di endoscopia digestiva, ma hanno bisogno di una formazione continua.

Urinary continence is the result of a balance between intra-vesical and urethral pressures.The International Continence Society (ICS) defines urinary incontinence as the involuntary and disturbing loss of urine.The layout of the pelvic floor explains why the consequence of childbirth is muscular trauma.We began by looking at the onset of postpartum urinary incontinence, perineal rehabilitation and the moments of exchange women enjoy during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Then, we developed and conducted 70 questionnaires with 70 deliveries in the postpartum services at AZIZA OTHMENA Hospital between February 10, 2014 and March 10, 2014 and a second questionnaire with 30 midwives to assess their knowledge about urinary incontinence and perineal rehabilitation.Midwives are primary care professionals, now responsible for women's reproductive health. Knowledge of the perineum and its physiology should be assessed at every consultation, and may or may not lead to pelvic-perineal education sessions.

M rz 2014 sowie einen zweiten Fragebogen mit 30 Hebammen durch, um ihr Wissen ber Harninkontinenz und Perinealrehabilitation zu bewerten.Hebammen sind Fachkr fte der Grundversorgung und k mmern sich um die reproduktive Gesundheit von Frauen. Die Kenntnisse ber den Beckenboden und seine Physiologie sollten bei jeder Konsultation bewertet werden, was zu einer Beckenbodenschulung f hren kann oder nicht.

La continenza urinaria il risultato di un equilibrio tra la pressione intravescicale e quella uretrale.L'International Continence Society (ICS) definisce l'incontinenza urinaria come la perdita involontaria e fastidiosa di urina.La disposizione del pavimento pelvico spiega perch la conseguenza del parto un trauma muscolare.Abbiamo iniziato analizzando l'insorgenza dell'incontinenza urinaria post-partum, la rieducazione perineale e le opportunit di dialogo tra le donne durante la gravidanza e il periodo post-parto. Abbiamo quindi redatto e realizzato 70 questionari con 70 donne che avevano partorito nel reparto di assistenza postnatale dell'ospedale AZIZA OTHMENA tra il 10 febbraio 2014 e il 10 marzo 2014, e un secondo questionario con 30 ostetriche per valutare la loro conoscenza dell'incontinenza urinaria e della rieducazione perineale.Le ostetriche sono professionisti dell'assistenza primaria che si occupano della salute riproduttiva delle donne. La conoscenza del perineo e della sua fisiologia dovrebbe essere valutata a ogni consultazione, con o senza sessioni di educazione pelvi-perineale.

Despite its contributions, the study has limitations, including limited data and a restricted geographical scope. Future research could explore in depth the mechanisms underlying these relationships and extend the analysis to other contexts for a more holistic understanding.
