La desapacici n de un hombre a finales de 1936 cambia la vida a toda su familia, que se ve obligada a abandonar las tierras de su propiedad para servir a un terrateniente. En Abril de 1939, terminada la Guerra Civil Espa ola, el hijo del hacendado regresa a casa para hacerse cargo de las tierras, coincidiendo su vuelta con una serie de desapariciones y asesinatos que involucran a varias familias del pueblo. El capit n Roberto Vega debe investigar y averiguar qu se esconde tras estos misteriosos sucesos envueltos en intrigas y enga os. Son casualidades, o existe alguna relaci n entre ellos? Ese ser el enigma que deber resolver.
