As I talk about this event that changed my life forever on December 14, 2012, in no way am I comparing myself to a hero. I was just helping the men and woman to cope with a horrid scene that would be in their hearts and minds forever. If in the minds of the hero's so in the minds of the families who sacrificed the ultimate. December 14, 2012 was a day that will live forever in my soul. I was a part of a chore of emergency personnel who had come together for an event that would not only change Connecticut but the entire world.

Han har skrevet dramatikk for teater, dukketeater, radioteater og tv. Blant hans scenedramatiske verker inngår Livet er en sandstrand (oppført 1990 og utgitt 1996), Dagenes Lys (oppført og utgitt 1996 . for denne mottok han Ibsenprisen for beste nye norske skuespill), Vest for Eden (oppført og utgitt 2000), 24 mislykte nordmenn (oppført 2003) og Lilleskogen (oppført og utgitt 2004). For sistnevnte fikk han en førstepris i Wilhelm Hansen Fondens nordiske dramatikerkonkurranse og Heddaprisen i åpen klasse.«Isbjørnen og jeg» er en mørk og morsom fabel fra skjulte korridorer i en eldre bygård. I en leilighet møtes Agnes, Mo og Ulrik; de har noe å feire. Men det som skulle blitt dagen for tre som elsket hverandre, får en brå vending da en ulykkelig brølende isbjørn dukker opp. «Isbjørnen og jeg» ble uroppført under Den internasjonale teaterfestivalen i St. Petersburg 1. oktober 2004. Stykket hadde Norgespremiere på Det Åpne Teater 28. Oktober 2004. «Sandy og Richard» er et skuespill om lengsel, død og kjærlighet inspirert av livene til folkrock-legendene Sandy Denny og Richard Thompson. Sandy skal gifte seg. Hun har sangen og sorgen. Også den rompa. Richard, en kanskje-kanskje ikke-mann, har den mørke siden av månen og en gitar som aldri sover. Det er sommer 1969. På en nedlagt kro er to skadeskutte unge talenter noen timer overlatt til seg selv og hverandre.
