Elbow is one of the most common components in the pipe line system, where pressure difference occurred as a fluid flow. Due to the pressure difference the centrifugal forces are developed. For this reason, the behavior of the fluid flow in a 90 elbow for different geometries of nozzle have been studied using the FLUENT software. Ten different models were investigated based on the K-ɛ model of the energy equation. The analysis was simulated in terms of the velocity and pressure contours and comparison is done. The analysis has been done for 10 different models with changing the angle of convergence from 0˚ to 90˚and found that the velocity gradients are increasing and pressure gradients are decreasing in an ascending order of the angles of convergence for nozzle geometry. The software values are compared to the regression values and found to yield good agreement with the simulated values.
Investigation of Weld by Friction Stir Welding of Various Tool Profile
Friction Stir Welding (FSW) is a relatively new solid-state joining process. This joining technique is energy efficient, environment friendly, and versatile. In FSW parameters play an important role like tool design, tool rotational speed, and axial force. To get effective welding joint need to concentrate on process parameters on FSW. Weld quality is predominantly affected by welding input parameters. The welding input parameters in FSW are tool Profile, tool rotational speed, and axial force play a major role in deciding the joint strength. The average FE tool value of weld strength for plane surface tool is 172.27 MPa. The average practical value of weld strength for plane surface tool is 218.91 MPa. The average value of weld strength for conical surface tool in FE tool 177.93 MPa. The maximum weld strength at 822.18oC both conical and plane surface tools are having 207.75 and 205.57 MPa. The average percentage of error is 21.29 for plane surface tool between the practical values and FE tool values. These values are observed that weld strength increase by using conical tool. In present work an attempt has been made to join the pure copper by using FE tool.

High Sensitivity C - Reactive Protein for Prediction of Adverse Pregnancy Outcome. Pregnancy, childbirth and their consequences are still the leading cause of disease, disability and death amongst women of reproductive age in developing countries. Over 300 millions in the developing world suffer from short term or long term illness brought about by pregnancy and childbirth; 5, 29,000 die each year. India is amongst those countries which have a very high Maternal Mortality Rate.While most pregnancies are problem free, few will have complications, minor to very serious. Human pregnancies are associated with profound inflammatory changes during early phase (Hwang HS et al 2007) resulting in adverse pregnancy outcome like premature rupture of membrane, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, gestational diabetes mellitus, preterm labour, low birth weight baby and still birth. Attempts are being made continuously for having screening tests with high sensitivity and positive predictive value so that timely preventive prophylactic therapies can be tried to avoid such pregnancy complications.

Electrically-assisted transdermal delivery also called iontophoresis is the facilitated transport of compounds across the skin using an electromotive force. The predominant mechanism for delivery is iontophoresis, although electroosmosis and electroporation have also been investigated. Uniform distribution and deposition of chemical from top to bottom of plant canopy and on the undersides of leaves is of utmost importance for effective pest control. Incorporation of air assistance in spraying system improves the deposition uniformly in the entire tree canopy. Spray deposition on the lower portion of plant leaves, where most of pests harbor, also improves in the air assisted spray application . The deposition of spray droplets, requirement of air volume in air assisted spraying system and pesticide application rates are mainly influenced by canopy characteristics like leaf area index and leaf area density. The higher leaf area density results in lower droplets density at the canopy. The tractor operated air-assisted sprayer in which high air velocity is generated through axial or centrifugal blower produces smaller size droplets . The air-assisted sprayer produces appropriate size droplets uniformly reducing losses of expensive chemical and environmental pollution. The fine droplets at high pressure during movement mix up thoroughly with air.
