Tämän teoksen tekemiseen osallistuneilla nuorilla on kaikilla erilaisia kokemuksia, joita he valottavat kirjan sivuilla. Silti nuoret kokevat itsensä joissakin tilanteissa Suomessa ulkopuolisina. Tämä on toisaalta hämmentävää. Toisaalta se auttaa heitä tarkastelemaan monia aikamme ilmiöitä avoimin silmin. Välitiloihin paikantuessaan he osallistuvat kulttuurin ja etnisyyden uudelleen määrittelyyn ja uudenlaisen suomalaisen kulttuuriperinnön tuottamiseen.

This book develops the concepts of various unique optimization techniques in the crisp and fuzzy environment. It provides an extensive overview of geometric programming methods within a unifying framework, and presents an in-depth discussion of the modified geometric programming problem, fuzzy geometric programming, as well as new insights into goal geometric programming. With numerous examples and exercises together with detailed solutions for several problems, the book also addresses fuzzy multi-objective geometric programming techniques. Geometric programming, which falls into the general class of signomial problems, has applications across disciplines, from engineering to economics, and is extremely useful in applications of a variety of optimization problems. Organized into thirteen chapters, this book is a valuable resource for graduate and advanced undergraduate students and researchers in applied mathematics and engineering.

This book is a comprehensive guide for agricultural and meteorological predictions. It presents advanced models for predicting target variables. The different details and conceptions in the modelling process are explained in this book. The models of the current book help better agriculture and irrigation management. The models of the current book are valuable for meteorological organizations. Meteorological and agricultural variables can be accurately estimated with this book's advanced models. Modelers, researchers, farmers, students, and scholars can use the new optimization algorithms and evolutionary machine learning to better plan and manage agriculture fields. Water companies and universities can use this book to develop agricultural and meteorological sciences. The details of the modeling process are explained in this book for modelers. Also this book introduces new and advanced models for predicting hydrological variables. Predicting hydrological variables help water resource planning and management. These models can monitor droughts to avoid water shortage. And this contents can be related to SDG6, clean water and sanitation. The book explains how modelers use evolutionary algorithms to develop machine learning models. The book presents the uncertainty concept in the modeling process. New methods are presented for comparing machine learning models in this book. Models presented in this book can be applied in different fields. Effective strategies are presented for agricultural and water management. The models presented in the book can be applied worldwide and used in any region of the world. The models of the current books are new and advanced. Also, the new optimization algorithms of the current book can be used for solving different and complex problems. This book can be used as a comprehensive handbook in the agricultural and meteorological sciences. This book explains the different levels of the modeling process for scholars.

Based on personal interviews between political prisoner Akram Al Saud and graphic artist Tobi Dahmen, Al-Fa?ia’: The Horror vividly depicts the life of a man who found the courage to resist in the face of unfathomable terror. Al-Fa?ia’: The Horror follows the harrowing journey of Akram Al Saud, a nineteen-year-old architecture student in Aleppo whose life was upended by an unjust arrest in 2010. After nine months in Assad’s prisons, he joined the revolution, endured further arrests, and was finally forced to flee to Europe in 2016. Restoring agency to Al Saud’s experiences as a survivor, this graphic novel portrays his life with authenticity and sensitivity. A rich appendix offers historical context and a behind-the-scenes look at the project’s creation. Created as part of the international Survivor-Centred Visual Narratives (SCVN) project, this book offers an impactful, arts-based way to share the experiences of those who have suffered at the hands of human rights abuses. This unique work resulting from the collaboration between Al Saud and Dahmen serves as an example of how the unspeakable can find expression in art.

Analyzes economic, political, and security issues associated with Korean unification. Considers how the North Korean system might unravel, leading to possible unification, and what the capital costs of unification would be under differing circumstances and assumptions. Compares points of relevance and nonrelevance between the German experience with unification in the 1990s and what might occur in Korea.
