F r den UV-Schutz wurde Lutein erfolgreich topisch mithilfe von Gelen verabreicht, die mit der nanostrukturierten Lipidtr gertechnologie (NLC) hergestellt wurden. Arzneimittel und ihre m glichen Hilfsstoffe wurden w hrend der Vorformulierungsstudien mithilfe von Methoden wie organoleptischer Beurteilung, Schmelzpunktanalyse, UV-sichtbaren Spektren, L slichkeitsstudien, Verteilungskoeffizienten und Fourier-Transformations-Infrarot-Analyse (FT-IR) auf NLC untersucht. Nachdem das Arzneimittel erfolgreich war Charakterisiert wurde die Formulierungsentwicklung durchgef hrt, um feste und fl ssige Lipide, das Verh ltnis von festen Lipiden zu fl ssigen Lipiden, Tensid- und Co-Tensidkonzentrationen, die Formulierungstechnik und Prozessfaktoren, d. h. R hrgeschwindigkeit, R hrzeit und Homogenisierungszyklen, auszuw hlen und zu optimieren. Nach der Optimierung der Prozessparameter wurde eine Rezepturtabelle erstellt und NLC entsprechend erstellt. Um die optimale NLC-Formulierung zu entwickeln, wurden die Charakterisierungen der hergestellten NLC-Formulierungen hinsichtlich Form und Oberfl chenmorphologie (TEM), Partikelgr e, Zetapotenzial, %-Einschlusseffizienz und In-vitro-Freisetzungstests bewertet. Die optimierte Lutein-NLC-Formulierung hat eine Partikelgr e von 81,64 nm, ein Zetapotential von -14,1 mV.
