Intuition and Divine Whispers

Intuition and Divine Whispers

Lenora Millen

Archway Publishing
2023
pokkari
How often have you experienced a powerful urge to do something and fought against it, only later to discover that your intuition was correct? How do we learn to listen to the God within and block the chatter of outside noise? These divine whispers not only inform and guide us but also serve as reminders that the creator is ever present in our lives, not just during difficult times. Intuition and Divine Whispers focuses on author LeNora Millen's spiritual journey and personal relationship with God. Millen calls on us to listen to the inner voice of God, which some call intuition or divine guidance. She doesn't seek to condemn or convert those who have not experienced miracles, the paranormal, or the gift of insight. Instead, she shares the path she traveled with a plethora of twists and turns, revealing aspects of her life previously only known to family and close friends. Most importantly, she explores what it means to pray and move out of your own way to allow your creator to work through you and for you. Using biblical references throughout the book, this inspirational and personal narrative explores intuitive guidance, God's divine spirit, and miracles materializing in our lives.

Lenora Warren tells a new story about the troubled history of abolition and slave violence by examining representations of shipboard mutiny and insurrection in late eighteenth- and early nineteenth-century Anglo-American and American literature. Fire on the Water centers on five black sailors, whose experiences of slavery and insurrection either inspired or found resonance within fiction: Olaudah Equiano, Denmark Vesey, Joseph Cinqué, Madison Washington, and Washington Goode. These stories of sailors, both real and fictional, reveal how the history of mutiny and insurrection is both shaped by, and resistant to, the prevailing abolitionist rhetoric surrounding the efficacy of armed rebellion as a response to slavery. Pairing well-known texts with lesser-known figures (Billy Budd and Washington Goode) and well-known figures with lesser-known texts (Denmark Vesey and the work of John Howison), this book reveals the richness of literary engagement with the politics of slave violence. Published by Bucknell University Press. Distributed worldwide by Rutgers University Press.

Moses saw the bush as well as the fire. We as leaders are to allow the people we lead to see that we are human, but yet they are to also see the Holy Spirit in us that we say we are following. Our responsibility is to live the same word we deliver. For the word of God has no respect of persons, we all are accountable for what we hear. We are open epistles that others will see the light to come out of bondage. Let me reassure you God is not concern about what you are able to do or not do. Know that the power of God lies in your ability to trust Him. Remember we are doing it all for His Glory. Not ours.

Shepherd, Author, Book ReviewerThis is the best Regency novel I've ever read Kristen Malone, Historical Romance Writer I would read anything Linore Rose Burkard writes.. It takes a great author to write so well in multiple genres, and this regency time travel is a great addition to Linore's other works, including a Christian Regency series and her heart stopping dystopian trilogy. This is an author you don't want to miss Jaimee Dinnison, Reviewer Thank you so much for this wonderful story. Peggy Ellis, Writer, Reviewer With eccentric characters, well-defined period details (have you been to 1816, Ms Burkard?) and a rollicking plot, Linore Rose Burkard takes us on a fast-paced, unpredictable journey that leaves the reader breathless until the very end. Janice Dick, Author, Calm Before the Storm Loved this book Unpredictability made me giggle in places. Fiona Rowe, Reader I loved this book It has romance, magic, mystery, and time travel all rolled into one delightful story that will keep you turning the page. Jody Blair, Reader I loved it I'm not usually a fan of historical romance, and so I was initially drawn to this book because of the time travel element. I recommend it to science fiction and romance readers alike Tommy-Lee Sexton, Reader A delicious romp through time that will keep you on the edge of your seat This was such a fun read.
