But meeting his brother's new sister-in-law, Camryn McBride, poses a new challenge. The savvy CFO of McBride Media has a brain he wants to pick...and a body he needs to claim. Camyrn has spent the past few years helping to rebuild her family's magazine company, focusing on that rather than her disastrous personal life. But when Booth Harrison invites her to be the keynote speaker at a sales conference in Hawaii, she's tempted to combine business with pleasure. But meeting the billionaire's demands won't be easy, because someone doesn't want a merger between them to happen.

In the late afternoon, the buildings blocked the sun and in the dim light, my neighbors would come to sit on the steps of the stoops on East 7th Street between Avenues C and D.This block is known locally as "the old Doctors' block" with Renaissance Revival tenement buildings and a picturesque row of painted-brick brownstones. The block survived the terrible devastation of the surrounding blocks, as the neighborhood degenerated into a ghetto, due to urban decay and arson during the 1970s.These images first appeared in 1987 in "The New Gay Art" by Vince Aletti. Several of these images appeared in the documentary film "7th Street" by actor and auteur Josh Pais.

Harmony makes no excuses for who she is or what she's done. For the past few years she's been living as a club girl for the Brothers by Blood MC. The club girls are there for a purpose - to cook, to clean and to keep the men happy. She respects the club, respects the men and she follows the rules. Watching the men walk in and out of her life is strangely comforting, and a feeling she's grown accustomed to. With a history of disappointments and false promises, all she wants is to have fun, play music and finish college. Being associated with the club, she can do that without having to risk her heart. That was until he showed up.When Kit's father stepped down as president, he took the title with pride. The Brothers by Blood MC is his family, his home. Deciding to celebrate his new title with his brothers from a neighboring chapter, the last thing he expected was to find Harmony - a club girl with all the makings of a perfect old lady. The stunning blonde is beautiful, strong and fiercely independent. Harmony refuses to lower the walls she's created around her heart, but the fire inside her and her love for the club fuel his need to have her by his side, and on the back of his bike. When Harmony's safety is threatened, Kit is determined to do whatever it takes to protect her and prove that she can trust him. But after a lifetime of broken promises, will it be enough?

The Letter of James

The Letter of James

Addison Hodges Hart

The Letter of James is perhaps needed more than ever today. In this commentary, Hart argues that the epistle is indeed the work of James of Jerusalem, ""the brother of the Lord,"" that it was an encyclical letter, and that its chief concern was to combat a distorted version of Paul's gospel. It is a work with a singular purpose: to bring the churches back to the most basic teachings of Jesus. In its defense of orthopraxy as the primary Christian standard, its denunciation of those with wealth who exploit or neglect the poor, its hard words for those who have taken on the mantel of ""teacher"" without first learning to restrain their tongues, and above all its exhortation to relearn the truth that ""faith without works of love] is dead,"" James could be talking to churches in our own time. This commentary presents James afresh, as a living guide with a perennial message for those who seek to follow Jesus. It is pastoral in intent, written for those who teach and preach, those who desire a more authentic discipleship, and those who practice lectio divina--the meditative reading of Scripture. (Includes the entire Greek text and the new English translation of the epistle by David Bentley Hart.) ""Addison Hart's commentary on James accomplishes the difficult task of placing the epistle in its historical and cultural context, including its dialogue with strands of Pauline thought and Jesus's teachings, while at the same time making the epistle come to life for the modern reader. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it."" --Roman A. Montero, Author of All Things in Common: The Economic Practices of the Early Christians ""The apostle James comes alive in Addison Hodges Hart's fascinating commentary on this New Testament epistle . . . In his own way, James was clearly as powerful a figure as Paul in the early church, advocating a subtly different take on Jesus's teaching, and is someone whom Christians still need to hear and understand if they are to know God in their hearts and lives."" --Mark Vernon, Author of The Idler Guide to Ancient Philosophy (2016) ""The greatest surprise of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation was the sheer number of prominent Protestant theologians announcing its end. If the Reformation project of a 'faith vs. works' Paulinism has run out of steam, then the 'What is to be done' question arises. Addison Hodges Hart's The Letter of James has a plausible answer in precisely a believing-through-doing approach to faith, orthopraxy, based upon James. This return of the repressed Jamesian 'faith through works, ' simultaneously ancient and post-modern, is presented not merely as a rival to early-modern (and ancient) Paulinisms, but also unearths resources for a reading of the Pauline corpus against Paulinism through orthopraxy."" --Artur Rosman, Managing Editor, Church Life Journal Addison Hodges Hart is the author of six previous books on the topics of Scripture, spirituality, interfaith dialogue, and doctrine. His two most recent books are Strangers and Pilgrims Once More: Being Disciples of Jesus in a Post-Christendom World (2014) and The Woman, the Hour, and the Garden: A Study of Imagery in the Gospel of John (2016). He is a former university chaplain and priest, now residing in Norway with his wife.

Embraer's re-engined E2 aircraft should prove very successful, given the well-established E-Jet customer base, its strong operating economics, and improved performance. We expect Embraer and Mitsubishi to lead the market for regional jets under 100 seats, with the E-175 E2 continuing the popularity of the existing E-175 in North America and other markets. The E2 program has seen orders grow twice as fast as the E-Jets, and tellingly, twice as fast as its direct competition. The E2 program has 272 firm orders and 670 commitments. In the 100-150 seats market, Embraer and Bombardier will lead the market, as their E-190 E2, E-195 E2, CS100 and CS300 aircraft are more efficient than "shrink" models including the Airbus A319neo and Boeing 737 MAX 7. With a leadership position in both segments of the 70 to 130 seats market, Embraer is well positioned to capture a strong share of both regional and mainline airline growth.
