And as a result, the movement's momentum will grow as we, from the ground up, take back the ground lost...and demolish the gates of hell
Matters of the Heart Series "A" was birthed out of Arona's desire to help marriages and families make and keep God as the Center of their relationship/existence through day to day living. It is a tool to be used in addition to the Bible to glue marriages and families together. Marriages and ultimately the entire institution of Family has been under attack by the enemy of our souls. Statistics show that divorces are occurring at an alarming rate within the Church, as much as it is within the world. To effectively take back the greatest institution that God has created from the enemy we have pursue God. God must be placed at the center of our marriages and families. Words can speak life or death and shift the atmosphere or climate surrounding your marriages and families. This book illustrates and instructs you to use words of ZOE (life) as you make these declarations and earnestly pray the prayer points over your marriages and families in Jesus' Mighty Name.

Mark d'Arbon is a retired academic who has spent the greater part of his adult life teaching in a wide range of settings, including a couple of years in Papua New Guinea. He has been writing poetry for many of those forty years, having poems published in a variety of anthologies. The first collection of his own poems was published in 2018, titled Veranda People. This second collection is more reflective and has as its core theme aspects of life and the impact of death, although there is a sufficiently eclectic spread of poems not to make this book so depressing that you have to put it down in order to have a good cry.
Look also for the Theophania Publishing edition of Orlando Furioso. The beautiful Angelica, daughter of the king of Cataio (Cathay), comes to Charlemagne's court for a tournament in which both Christians and pagans can participate. She offers herself as a prize to whoever will defeat her brother, Argalia, who in so doing imprisons lots of Christians. But then Ferraguto (aka Ferra ) kills Argalia and Angelica flees, chased by many paladins, especially Orlando and Rinaldo. Stopping in the Ardenne forest, she drinks at the Stream of Love (making her fall in love with Rinaldo), while Rinaldo drinks at the fount of hate (making him conceive a passionate hatred of Angelica): first reversal. She asks the magician Malagigi to kidnap Rinaldo, and the magician brings him to an enchanted island, while she returns to Cataio where she is besieged by king Agricane, another of her admirers, in the fortress of Albracc . Orlando comes to kill Agricane and to free her, and he succeeds. Afterwards, Rinaldo tries to convince him to return to France to fight alongside Charlemagne: consequently, Orlando and Rinaldo duel furiously. In fact, in the meantime the Saracen king Agramante has invaded France with a massive army (along with Rodomonte, Ferra , Gradasso, and many others), to avenge his father Troiano, previously killed by Orlando. Rinaldo rushes back to France, chased by Angelica in love with him, in turn chased by Orlando. Back in the Ardenne forest, this time Rinaldo and Angelica drink at the opposite founts: second reversal. Orlando and Rinaldo duel again for Angelica, and Charlemagne decides to entrust her to the old and wise duke Namo, offering her to the one who will fight most valorously against the infidels. In the meantime, the Saracen paladin Ruggiero and Rinaldo's sister, Bradamante, fall in love. The poem stops there abruptly, with Boiardo's narrator explaining that he can write no more because Italy has been invaded by French troops headed by king Charles VIII (Ariosto's "Orlando Furioso" will reprise from that point).
Health issues have long occupied top headlines in Canadian media, and no journalist has written on public health with more authority or for as many years as Andr Picard. Matters of Life and Death collects Picard's most compelling columns, covering a broad range of topics including Canada's right-to-die law, the true risks of the Zika virus, the financial challenges of a publicly funded health system, appalling health conditions in First Nations communities, the legalization of marijuana, the social and economic impacts of mental illness, and the healthcare challenges facing transgender people. The topic of health touches on the heart of society, intersecting with many aspects of private and public life--human rights, aging, political debate, economics and death. With his reporting, Picard demonstrates the connection between physical health and the health of society as a whole, provides the facts to help readers make knowledgeable health choices, and acts as a devoted advocate for those whose circumstances bar them from receiving the care they need. Providing an antidote to widespread fear-mongering and misinformation, Matters of Life and Death is essential reading for anyone with an investment in public health topics--in other words, everyone.
In 1944, members of the Sonderkommando—the “special squads,” composed almost exclusively of Jewish prisoners, who ensured the smooth operation of the gas chambers and had firsthand knowledge of the extermination process—buried on the grounds of Auschwitz-Birkenau a series of remarkable eyewitness accounts of Nazi genocide. This careful and penetrating study examines anew these “Scrolls of Auschwitz,” which were gradually recovered, in damaged and fragmentary form, in the years following the camp’s liberation. It painstakingly reconstructs their historical context and textual content, revealing complex literary works that resist narrow moral judgment and engage difficult questions about the limits of testimony.
