This book examines the perverse effects of African migration to Canada. It focuses on the impact of the non-return of top-performing migrants from Cameroon and Senegal on the development dynamics of their respective countries. Sub-Saharan Africa, a geographical area of the globe rich in high-quality human resources in terms of its young, skilled population, is paradoxically lagging behind in terms of socio-economic growth. One of the reasons for this is the brain drain. Indeed, according to several studies, Africa is the continent most affected by brain drain. The IOM estimates that thousands of African intellectuals have left the continent in recent years for study, training or professional reasons. Canada, which opts for skilled immigration, is a magnet for these African nationals, thanks to the better job opportunities on offer. This represents an important workforce for sectors in short supply, and helps boost its economic growth to the detriment of that of source countries.

Mainly oriented towards Europe for colonial reasons or geographical proximity, the movement of people from Africa to North America has been on the increase since the 2000-2010 decade. More than 60 years after independence, many African leaders are still struggling to pull their countries out of underdevelopment. Unfortunately, this situation leads to a state of malaise among citizens, who are the first victims of bad governance, corruption, favoritism, interference by foreign powers, poverty, underemployment, unemployment and so on. These factors, also known as repulsive factors, are at the root of the mass exodus of Africans to Canada, a country which, on the contrary, exerts a strong attraction on them. Over time, this rich and prosperous nation has become a small global village, as it is the dream country of many of the world's migrants. It boasts a number of natural, political and socio-economic assets that make it such a popular destination.

The Song of Songs remains one of the most enigmatic and difficult books to understand. In addition, the text has been fluid, as shown by the Qumran scrolls, although it has reached us in a fairly stable form. There are two main focal points in this commentary. One is language, using comparative Semitics as well as reference to more remote cognates in other languages. The Song of Songs contains a very high number of rare Hebrew words and expressions, some of which are unique twists on well-established forms, and these need to be understood before any attempt is made at deciphering the meaning of the book. In many cases there is no clear-cut solution, so the reader is presented with a series of choices. The other focus is on similar compositions from Egypt – its well-known and extensive love poetry – as well as from Anatolia, Mesopotamia, Syria and elsewhere, which supply an invaluable cultural background. Particular attention is paid to poetic aspects, including comparison with ancient Near Eastern verse patterns. In line with the rest of the series, account is also taken of the many approaches adopted by previous interpreters. The illustrations, black and white versions of original watercolours, help to give this commentary a contemporary appeal.

Welcome to Poetry of the Soul Series and the 4th edition, titled "Prophecy". This book is another venture into the psyche and the visions of the Author...It represents another evolutionary journey of the writer's views and perceptions through a prism of time. Furthermore, it gives a look into the future from the perceptive of the author. Prophesy from a literary sense represents premonitions, feelings (emotions), as well as, forecasting a sense of something to come. "Prophecy" has those elements, but also takes a look at ourselves through a self-reflecting mirror. Prophecy is a macro view of social values, cultures, classism's, and labels. The audience will get a chance to discover within them the values of family, spirituality, time, and advocacy. It is a chance to interact with the author's dialogue and to see what he appreciate's in the spectrum of life.

Fractals & Local Order in Polymeric Materials
Cluster Model Interrelation with Modern Physical Concepts

Fractal analysis gives just general mathematical description of polymers, i.e. it does not identify structural units (elements), from which any real polymer is formed. Physical description of thermodynamically non-equilibrium polymer structure in the framework of the local order ideas gives the cluster model of the polymer amorphous state structure that quantitatively identify its elements. Since these models consider the polymer structure somewhat from two sides, they are excellent completing one another. It is common knowledge that structures displaying fractal behaviour on small length scale and being homogeneous on large length scale are named homogeneous fractals. These fractals are percolation clusters at the percolation threshold. As shown below, the cluster structure represents the percolation system and, due to the above-said, the homogeneous fractal. To put it differently, the presence of the local order in the condensed phase of polymers determines fractality of their structures.
