“I wish I had less money,” said no one, ever. Let’s start with the obvious: You are poor as hell, my friend. The top 1% own about 40% of the nation’s wealth in the United States while you might barely have 40 cents of a dollar in your pocket. But that’s capitalism for you. While the One-Percenters go off bathing in the tears of orphan children and sprinkling flakes of gold onto their ice cream sundaes or whatever it is that rich people do, you have to come to terms with the fact that you might have to sell off your soul to pay your taxes. But welcome to the 99%, where the game is the economy and most of us are losing, but at least we’re having fun… right? In 99 Signs You’re Not in the 1%, S.m. Torres, fellow 99-Percenter, lays it out the cold hard truth of how the struggle is real when it comes to money (or lack thereof) in our wallets. From affording rent to buying underwear in bulk, relish in the camaraderie that is the 99% Life.
Once there was a tree, and she loved a boy—and already, this story is getting weird. This tree did everything for the little boy, spoiled the heck out of him, only to raise a monster, proving to everyone that trees make terrible parents. But whoever thought trees would make good parents? In this satirical, cautionary tale about the consequences of over-coddling your kids, watch the downward spiral of bratty child turned evil lunatic against a tree who was just trying to live her tree life. Enjoy this dark parody of indulgent parenting gone horribly wrong.
Sometimes a kid can be afraid to go potty, and that’s okay. It’s weird. It’s gross. But eventually the kid has to crap. For parents who are trying to persuade their little bundle of joy to do the deed on the toilet, here’s a book that understands the struggle. From roosters crapping in the morning to owls crapping in the evening, everyone hits the john at some point and it’s just a matter of convincing the little one it’s not so bad. Really. It isn’t. With this parody of potty-training books, parents can share in the common frustration over a little one who won’t go near the toilet, while enjoying the serene nature of origami animals taking a crap.

In the quiet, affluent neighborhood of Atherton, California, Charles Gill Jr., a sixteen-year-old teenager lived a comfortable life with his father until his attraction to a beautiful girl from the wrong side of the tracks led to an act of disobedience, which caused his life to spiral out of control. Now, after making one bad decision after another, can his two best friends help to save him from himself, or will his mistakes drag them all down into a set of circumstances that they will all regret for the rest of their lives?
"The Adventures of Sadie, Her Father, and the Surfboard is a wonderful book for children of all ages that tells the story of a young elephant and the life-changing adventure of overcoming fear as she realizes that she doesn't have to be a victim of fear and discovers how brave she can really be if she will just put her faith in the Lord." Hi, I'm Sue Browning, the author, born in San Antonio, Texas. Married 47 years, with 6 grown married children, 28 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. The desire of my heart with this book is to reach the child in each of us with the knowledge that we can overcome our fears and do unimaginable brave things when we are willing and obedient. And by these victories, we bring glory to God and find unimaginable joy
It all began in the small town of Hebert, Illinois, then spread across the entire U.S. One man, Blake travelling by truck, was determined to infect the majority of the human race. A small brand of hunters from Hebert travel to meet with police in Denver. This band consists of a retired F.B.I. agent, businessmen, farmers, law enforcement and two vampires. They fight with bullets and wooden tipped arrows all dipped in holy water. Blake continues to stay one step ahead of the hunters and evade their every attempt to stop him. He believes he is truly the original Dracula and demonstrates powers a normal human could never perform. Will Denver be his final resting place? Or will he once again escape and continue his reign of terror?
I write rhyming poems that tell stories, expose truths and hopefully inspire. The majority of the poems are spiritually based with feelings and beliefs expressed in rhyme. Some of the poems explain differences of opinions. Some honor people and their beliefs. Some will make you stop and think. Some are written simply to entertain. Find a nice quiet place to sit and relax. Read a poem, then stop and reflect on how you interpret its meaning. "Rude and Crude" was published over ten years ago in Best Poets of the Western World. It is my favorite poem, it's meaning and message reflect what is happening in America today. Don't be the fish...
There is the account of stepping across the limits of Time and Space to encounter Jesus in a cloud of glory, after falling from a burned down swinging bridge in Oak Creek Canyon, with a question and a promise, that answers those searching for truth of the many of the controversially questions, is life perishable, or does it live on. She records the events around her father's supernatural healing of cancerous tumors, and the mystery of the "burning bush", the miracle of the face in the sky who would pray to save her from the fall in the canyon. Her vision of the doctor who would be her surgeon for a surgery that showed the unique versatility of our Creator God to heal and touch others in an unexpected turn of events. There is the remembrance of family and friends that wrap around us in a comforting embrace, to remind us of how needed they are needed in an atmosphere of challenge.
