This book covers three time periods (Post Mayan Event, 2012 AD): years 1,00010,000 in chapters 1 to 9 cover psychic development, singularities, scientology, time travel, explorations in space and time, and communications; years 10,000 to 100,000 in chapters 10 to 19 cover technology developments, explorations, communications, psychic powers, singularities, teleportation, fields of science (astronomy, biology, chemistry, geology, and physics); and years 100,000 to 1,000,000 in chapters 20 to 30 covers singularities, levels of consciousness, technology, exploration, space colonies, higher planes of existence, and a channeled overview.
David Gay writes: 'No one should be so foolish as to think that because I have published this small volume of extracts on the new covenant and associated topics drawn from the works of Robert Govett that I endorse everything Govett ever wrote. On many things I differ from him. I do not even endorse everything he wrote on the new covenant and the law Even so, Govett said some powerful and pertinent things on both, and since I have tried in my own works to further the recovery of the full liberty of the gospel, I am pleased to be able to produce this little work, and so let Govett speak to a wider audience than he does at present, hoping to encourage many to go back to the Scriptures and search out these things for themselves... Govett is worth listening to. Don't take my word for it. Bear in mind the opinion of C.H.Spurgeon. He thought more highly of Govett's works than I do He declared: "Mr Govett wrote a hundred years before his time, and the day will come when his works will be treasured as sifted gold". Well... perhaps not all of them But, to say the least of it, what I have selected and now publish from the works of Govett merits serious thought'.

Preaching Today: Food For Action as well as Thought

David Gay writes: 'I say that something is wrong with preaching today. Badly so. It is largely ineffectual. Or so it seems to me. Ineffectual? Judging by results - the fewness and quality of conversions and the low spirituality of the local assembly - preaching today does seem pretty ineffectual to me. This is the issue I want to raise... In publishing anything on this subject, of course, I know I shall inevitably condemn myself, and leave myself wide open to warranted censure. Quite rightly, Christ's words to the Jews will be applied to me: "You will surely say this proverb to me: 'Physician, heal yourself '" (Luke 4:23). And James 3:1 hits me straight between the eyes. As does Romans 2:17-23 and 1 Timothy 1:7. So let me get my "defence" in first. In what follows, I... do not exempt myself... Do not run away with the idea that what I say in these pages means I think I have attained to the standard I set out, and successfully avoid all the mistakes I condemn. Sadly, I am only too aware - embarrassingly conscious - of my failings in these matters. Indeed, to avoid a greater sense of self-condemning hypocrisy, I could remain silent now. It is only the importance of the issue which drives me on, even though I expose myself to justified criticism. Dismiss me if you will, but weigh my words. You never know - there might be something in what I say. Please remember my chosen subtitle: "Food for Action as well as Thought". It might just be...'. Purnell On The New Covenant

What's in a hyphen? Quite a bit, sometimes Should it be new-covenant theology or new covenant-theology? Covenant theology was invented in the late 16th century. Christ, fulfilling the old covenant, established the new covenant. And new-covenant theology is nothing other than the theology of the new covenant, the gospel. So those who think that new-covenant theology was invented in the 1980s could not be more wrong. It is actually older than the hills, having originated in God's eternal decree. What is more, in covenant- theology's heyday - the late-puritan era in England - not a few preachers and writers resolutely stood against the tide to set out the glories of the new covenant. One such was Robert Purnell. David Gay, culling a few gems from Purnell's works, has killed three birds with one stone. He has shown that new-covenant theology is not a new kid on the block. He has shown that the so-called antinomians of the 17th century might - just might - have something to teach believers today. Above all, he has reminded us once more of those scriptural doctrines that are so often dismissed, even though they are so desperately needed. Gay hopes that this little work will enable Purnell's words to travel far and do much good, encouraging many believers to search the Scriptures - not the Confessions - for themselves. Escape to Gold Mountain: A Graphic History of the Chinese in North America

This is a vivid graphic history of the Chinese experience in North America over the last 150 years, beginning with the immigration of Chinese to "Gold Mountain" (the Chinese colloquialism for North America) in the 1800s that resulted in decades of discrimination, subjugation, and separation from loved ones. Based on historical documents and interviews with elders, the book is also the epic story of the Wong family as they traverse these challenges with hope and determination, creating an immigrant's legacy in their new home of North America. David H.T. Wong is an architect and historian.

Market: Engineers and researchers in neural networks, image processing, audio/speech, and medical imaging. This book begins by focusing on the theoretical aspect of pattern recognition and introduces an integrated pattern recognition paradigm, which combines preprocessing, low dimensional signal characterization, feature optimization, and mapping classifier architecture to good features in a seamless fashion. Later, the authors reinforce the concepts of pattern recognition and prediction with challenging real- world examples, encompassing financial market prediction, image coding, active and passive sonar processing, chaos modeling, and intelligent product design.
From the Preface Surgical tissue adhesives are an ancient idea, going back to the beginnings of recorded history. The concept of adhering, rather than suturing, packing, or stapling planes of tissue is attractive, in that it is fast-acting and assures complete closure. Numerous technologies have been tried; some with limited success, others outright failures. In short, the perfect adhesive does not exist. Limitations occur in a number of areas: strength, toxicity, degradation, and safety. It is also important to keep in mind that "one size fits all" does not apply to adhesives in surgical applications any more than it does in day-to-day application. As one would not use paper glue to seal a bathtub, one would presumably not apply an adhesive onto tendons, which is suitable for sealing corneas. The properties required of an adhesive for each indication are quite different. Over the last twenty-five years, advances have been made in a wide range of technologies targeting some embodiment of a practical and safe adhesive. Foremost and successful among these are cyanoacrylates, marine adhesive proteins, and fibrin-based sealants. Another promising adhesive technology is laser solders, a mixture of polypeptides and proteoglycans, which integrates with the repair site when laser energy is applied. In light of these advances in the field, the Symposium for Surgical Tissue Adhesives was organized and held at the Atlanta Hyatt from October 8-10, 1993. The goal was to bring together these far-flung technologies in a comprehensive and cohesive manner. Presentations by investigators from around the world described the history of adhesives in medicine, current technologies, laboratory characterizations, and application developments, as well as regulatory aspects and clinical applications. We felt that as many viewpoints as possible, however conflicting, were important to present in order to give the most complete picture of the state of the art of surgical adhesives.
