Repetitive Corrugation and Straightening (RCS) process is one of the Severe Plastic Deformation (SPD) techniques which introduces a large amount of plastic deformation in a sheet workpiece without significantly changing its cross-sectional geometry. In present work experimentation and Finite Element (FE) study of Repetitive Corrugation and Straightening (RCS) process is being attempted. The work is done in two parts i.e. Finite Element Study and Experimentation work. In the Finite Element study, the effect of triangular and circular teeth effect has been studied and an intermediate teeth design is used. The teeth are of triangular in shape with a rounded top. Experimentation of RCS process is attempted with a 100mm x 100mm x 1 mm of Al6061 sheet. Experimentation was performed for three cycles of RCS process giving 90 Clockwise rotation along the perpendicular axis to the surface after each pass. Three mechanical tests were performed viz. Micro Hardness test, Tensile test and Stiffness test. To study the effect of the process these tests were performed on processed as well as unprocessed sheet sample. The hardness test shows an increase in hardness after every pass.

Le ma s (Zea mays L.; 2n = 20) est une c r ale grossi re du Nouveau Monde appartenant la famille des Poaceae et la tribu des Maydeae. Le ma s est connu comme la "reine des c r ales" en raison de sa plus grande productivit parmi les c r ales, suivie par le riz et le bl . Le grain de ma s contient environ 70 pour cent d'amidon, 9 pour cent de prot ines, 2 pour cent de sucre, 4 pour cent d'huile. En Inde, le ma s est cultiv la fois pendant les saisons du kharif et du rabi, avec une part de 85 pour cent et 15 pour cent, respectivement. Le ma s est cultiv pour le grain, le fourrage, les pis verts, le ma s doux, le ma s miniature, le pop-corn, tout au long de l'ann e. Les principaux tats producteurs de ma s sont le Karnataka (12,38 %), le Maharashtra (12,33 %) et le Madhya Pradesh (12,32 %). Le d veloppement d'hybrides est important pour augmenter le rendement en soi et renforcer la r sistance aux maladies importantes. Ainsi, la s lection se fait sur la base de la performance en soi, de la diversit g n tique et de la capacit de combinaison des parents. Le concept d'analyse lign e testeur a t d velopp par Kempthorne (1957). Il s'agit d'une forme modifi e d'un croisement sup rieur utilis pour mesurer les variations et les effets des capacit s de combinaison g n rales et sp cifiques dans un grand nombre de lign es de germoplasme la fois.
