I came into a somewhat confusing and frustrating time in my life, and honestly, I needed to get my sh*t together. I needed vision, accountability, gratitude, and clarity around what was frustrating me and how I was reacting to those frustrations. I needed to focus on what I WAS getting done, rather than obsessing about the seemingly endless things I wasn't getting done.But there were some truths I needed to recognize in developing this format - I don't have much time. Countless blank pages intimidate me (even as a writer) but planners and super structured journals stress me out (I don't need more lists of things I'm not going to get done). RealBook's format is designed to be quick, easy, and fun. Perhaps as importantly, it's meant to be meaningful, insightful and eye-opening. (Since I've started RealBooking, I've answered some questions I didn't even know I had )I call this journal/workbook RealBook because I think we can make HUGE strides in our goals and growth by redirecting a few minutes a day away from social media to the pages of RealBook.
