The Adventures of Beartectives Series (1) The case of Iris the missing Polar bear cub. Oh no not Ms. Mimples and Sheriff Micheals too!(Child's Play &
Local writer from Chicago. I started to write at a young age 12. My first book unpublished was called the Easter bunny hunt. I love writing then, and I knew someday I would get the opportunity to color my story telling out in the open. The Adventures of the Beartectives is a Children's novel of a fiction small town Bearville. A group of bears and detective solve crimes. A local detective moves back in once was a quiet community to solve many crimes with the help of the Beartectives who are VJ's(Violet Josephine) his 6 year old daughter's imagination of stuff animals helping to solve crime. My message is to restore innocence. We have stray away from what once was a simple lifestyle of living because of many disturbances that have occurred with our families, communities, and surrounding nations. We have driven the idea of being innocent to a strange place that seems almost abnormal making the only ideology of existence to be crime, violence, and a slowly dying nation. We are not lost, but over the hill. Everything needs to be put at halt and evaluated before we as a nation destroy ourselves. Thinking and waiting for something /someone to come and end the world we know is not reality. If God didn't want mankind to exist, than he would have not taken 6 days to build a life time project.

Much has been written about how to engage students in their learning, but very little of it has issued from students themselves. Compiled by one of the leading scholars in the field of student voice, this sourcebook draws on the perspectives of secondary students in the United States, England, Canada, and Australia as well as on the work of teachers, researchers, and teacher educators who have collaborated with a wide variety of students.Highlighting student voices, it features five chapters focused on student perspectives, articulated in their own words, regarding specific approaches to creating and maintaining a positive classroom environment and designing engaging lessons and on more general issues of respect and responsibility in the classroom. To support educators in developing strategies for accessing and responding to student voices in their own classrooms, the book provides detailed guidelines created by educational researchers for gathering and acting upon student perspectives. To illustrate how these approaches work in practice, the book includes stories of how pre-service and in-service teachers, school leaders, and teacher educators have made student voices and participation central to their classroom and school practices. And finally, addressing both practical and theoretical questions, the book includes a chapter that outlines action steps for high school teachers, school leaders, and teacher educators and a chapter that offers a conceptual framework for thinking about and engaging in this work. Bringing together in a single text student perspectives, descriptions of successful efforts to access them in secondary education contexts, concrete advice for practitioners, and a theoretical framework for further exploration, this sourcebook can be used to guide practice and support re-imagining education in secondary schools of all kinds, and the principles can be adapted for other educational contexts.

Here is an insightful volume on the integration of women in the modernization process of developing countries, with research studies on women and development in Guatemala, Tanzania, Indonesia, and several other countries. Drawing from theory and practice, authorities examine how development in any kind of economy marginalizes women, illustrate the existence of a feminist awareness among impoverished rural women, demonstrate the importance of understanding the policy and program implementation institutions within which any transition toward more women-sensitive change is to occur, and suggest the kind of research that would be useful and credible to policymakers. Each of the controversial chapters reflects a new phase in women and development research, and each is a reminder that the fundamental issue--women’s subordination--remains key to theory and practice in development.
