Friction stir welding is a relatively new joining process which involves the following metals without fusion of tiller materials. The amount of the heat conducted into the work piece dictates a successful process which is defined by the quality, shape and micro structure of the processed zone as well as the residual stress and the distortion of the work piece. The amount of the heat gone to the total dictates the life of the tool and the capability of the tool to produce a good processed zone.

Die Umweltverschmutzung durch Tabak (Environmental Tobacco Pollution, ETS) ist die Verschmutzung durch die Verbrennung von Tabakerzeugnissen in Innenr umen, die zu einem gro en Problem f r die ffentliche Gesundheit geworden ist. In dieser Untersuchung wurde zus tzlich zu den histopathologischen Ergebnissen festgestellt, dass die Expositionszeit der Tabakverschmutzung nicht nur das Atmungssystem beeinflusst, sondern auch andere Systeme und den Stoffwechsel von Personen, die mit ihr in Kontakt kommen. Die Sorge um die Umwelt und die Lebewesen ist dem Biologen inh rent, und so ist es auch seine Aufgabe, die durch die Umweltverschmutzung verursachten Sch den zu untersuchen, zu er rtern und durch anschauliche Experimente nachzuweisen, wie es in dieser Untersuchung geschehen ist. Es ist daher wichtig, die Notwendigkeit von Forschungen und Diskussionen zu betonen, die PTA einbeziehen, mit dem Ziel, zus tzliche Informationen ber sie zu liefern.

L'uso delle radiografie come strumento diagnostico diventato una routine indispensabile nella terapia endodontica. Anche con le migliori intenzioni e con una tecnica raffinata, le immagini acquisite con le radiografie intraorali convenzionali rivelano informazioni solo in due dimensioni (altezza e larghezza), limitando le informazioni preziose nella terza dimensione, cio la "profondit della lesione". Inoltre, i problemi inerenti al posizionamento dei recettori dell'immagine nella posizione ideale rispetto all'area anatomica di interesse, il rumore anatomico, la sottostima o la sovrastima dell'effettiva guarigione o del fallimento del trattamento endodontico limitano la valutazione della vera natura delle lesioni endodontiche. Dalle semplici radiografie periapicali intra-orali, le tecniche di imaging avanzate come la radiografia di sottrazione, la tomografia computerizzata, la tomografia computerizzata a fascio conico, la risonanza magnetica, gli ultrasuoni, la TC a spirale, la micro TC, la tomografia a coerenza ottica hanno trovato posto nell'odontoiatria moderna. In particolare, la tecnologia CBCT sta migliorando a un ritmo rapido a causa dei migliori dati diagnostici forniti e, di conseguenza, di un processo decisionale appropriato per la gestione di problemi endodontici complessi.

The use of radiographs as a diagnostic tool has become an indispensable routine in endodontic therapy. Even with the best intentions and refined technique, images acquired using conventional intra-oral radiographs reveal information in two-dimensions only (height and width) limiting valuable information in the third dimension i.e.,"depth of the lesion". Besides this, the inherent problems of positioning image receptors in the ideal position in relation to the anatomical area of interest, anatomic noise, under or over- estimation of actual healing or failure of endodontic treatment limits the assessment of true nature of the endodontic lesions. From the simple intra-oral periapical X-rays, advanced imaging techniques like Subtraction Radiography, Computed tomography, Cone beam computed tomography, Magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, Spiral CT, Micro CT, Optical coherence tomography have also found place in modern dentistry. Especially CBCT technology is improving at a rapid pace because of the improved diagnostic data provided and therefore appropriate decision making for the management of complex endodontic problems .

En outre, les probl mes inh rents au positionnement id al des r cepteurs d'image par rapport la zone anatomique d'int r t, le bruit anatomique, la sous-estimation ou la surestimation de la gu rison r elle ou de l' chec du traitement endodontique limitent l' valuation de la v ritable nature des l sions endodontiques. Depuis les simples radiographies p riapicales intra-orales, des techniques d'imagerie avanc es telles que la radiographie par soustraction, la tomodensitom trie, la tomodensitom trie faisceau conique, l'imagerie par r sonance magn tique, les ultrasons, la tomodensitom trie en spirale, la microtomodensitom trie et la tomographie par coh rence optique ont galement trouv leur place dans la dentisterie moderne. La technologie CBCT, en particulier, s'am liore rapidement en raison de l'am lioration des donn es diagnostiques fournies et, par cons quent, de la prise de d cision appropri e pour la gestion des probl mes endodontiques complexes.

Wykorzystanie radiogram w jako narzędzia diagnostycznego stalo się nieodzowną rutyną w leczeniu endodontycznym. Nawet przy najlepszych intencjach i dopracowanej technice, obrazy uzyskane za pomocą konwencjonalnych radiogram w wewnątrzustnych ujawniają informacje tylko w dw ch wymiarach (wysokośc i szerokośc), ograniczając cenne informacje w trzecim wymiarze, tj. Poza tym, nieodlączne problemy związane z ustawieniem receptor w obrazu w idealnej pozycji w stosunku do anatomicznego obszaru zainteresowania, szum anatomiczny, niedoszacowanie lub przeszacowanie rzeczywistego gojenia lub niepowodzenia leczenia endodontycznego ograniczają ocenę prawdziwej natury zmian endodontycznych. Od prostych wewnątrzustnych okolowierzcholkowych zdjęc rentgenowskich, zaawansowane techniki obrazowania, takie jak radiografia subtrakcyjna, tomografia komputerowa, tomografia komputerowa wiązki stożkowej, rezonans magnetyczny, ultradźwięki, spiralna tomografia komputerowa, mikro tomografia komputerowa, optyczna koherentna tomografia r wnież znalazly miejsce w nowoczesnej stomatologii. Szczeg lnie technologia CBCT rozwija się w szybkim tempie ze względu na lepsze dane diagnostyczne, a tym samym odpowiednie podejmowanie decyzji w leczeniu zlożonych problem w endodontycznych.

Die Verwendung von R ntgenbildern als diagnostisches Hilfsmittel ist zu einer unverzichtbaren Routine in der endodontischen Therapie geworden. Selbst mit den besten Absichten und einer ausgefeilten Technik geben die mit herk mmlichen intraoralen R ntgenaufnahmen aufgenommenen Bilder nur Informationen in zwei Dimensionen (H he und Breite) preis, wodurch wertvolle Informationen in der dritten Dimension, d. h. in der "Tiefe der L sion", eingeschr nkt werden. Dar ber hinaus schr nken die inh renten Probleme bei der Positionierung der Bildrezeptoren in der idealen Position in Bezug auf den interessierenden anatomischen Bereich, das anatomische Rauschen, die Unter- oder bersch tzung der tats chlichen Heilung oder des Scheiterns der endodontischen Behandlung die Beurteilung der wahren Natur der endodontischen L sionen ein. Von den einfachen intra-oralen periapikalen R ntgenaufnahmen haben fortgeschrittene bildgebende Verfahren wie die Subtraktionsradiographie, die Computertomographie, die Cone-Beam-Computertomographie, die Magnetresonanztomographie, der Ultraschall, die Spiral-CT, die Mikro-CT und die optische Koh renztomographie ebenfalls ihren Platz in der modernen Zahnmedizin gefunden. Insbesondere die CBCT-Technologie entwickelt sich in rasantem Tempo weiter, da sie bessere diagnostische Daten liefert und somit eine angemessene Entscheidungsfindung f r die Behandlung komplexer endodontischer Probleme erm glicht.
