Die epochale Bedeutung des Denkens von Rene Descartes ist fur die Philosophie- und Geistesgeschichte der Neuzeit unbestritten. In welch hohem Masse auch die reformierte Theologie die neue Philosophie des 17. Jahrhunderts aufgenommen und diskutiert hat, zeigt Kai-Ole Eberhardts Analyse von Leben und Werk des Theologieprofessors Christoph Wittich.
