Bishop Thompson is the founding pastor of Jubilee Christian Church in Boston, the largest local church in New England. As the Presiding Prelate over the network of churches called Church Without Walls, International, Bishop provides pastoral care and oversight to pastors in the United States, India, Egypt, and other African nations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Moody Bible Institute, a Master of Theology degree from the Boston University School of Theology, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. He and his wife Yvonne have been happily married since 1967, have eight grown children (all of whom are mature believers significantly involved in the work of the Church) and as of mid 2018-thirty-four (34) grandchildren.
