I have been there, and I have fought back the fear and sense of complete failure due to not being able to be with my wife in her time of need because of pandemic guidelines. I have fought back at the never-ending loops that your mind continues to go into while trying to make sense of the loss. My name is Michael L. Sutton and I was born in Flint, Michigan on March eleventh nineteen-fifty eight. As a teenager, eighteen years of age I was fortunate enough to have met and married my wife of forty-three years Cynthia K. (Rogers) of Ausable, Michigan, after meeting her on a "Blind date", and an eleven-month courtship. Together we had two children (Christina L. and Michael D.), who currently reside as I continue to, after my wife's demise, in Cheboygan, Michigan. The loss and emptiness that is felt after the death of a loved one, and the effort that is needed to keep your life, your mind, and your health together is the basis for this book.
