Who said tempting a sweet Southern belle would be easy? When rebel biker Bullworth Clayton gets tangled up with pastel-and-pearls-clad April Church, sparks fly. Sure, April would clearly rather work with anyone else, but if teaming up with Bull means a successful charity event for a sick little boy they both care about, then so be it.April is baffled at how drawn she is to the leather-wearing, tattooed Bull

Pastor and prolific Bible commentator Warren Wiersbe wrote in his Foreword to The Best of Times: "As I began to read this book, my first response was 'Delightful ' One minute I was laughing and the next minute I was furtively wiping away a few tears. But the longer I read, the more I found myself saying 'Insightful ' I guess balance is the word that best describes the contents of this book-spiritual insights and practical counsel, laughter and tears and lots of encouragement. I certainly need all of those things, and you probably do, too "With heartwarming vignettes, Vicki Huffman writes about all the times of our lives ("A time to be born and a time to die . . .") from Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. Join her as she explores how God has, as Solomon concluded, "made everything beautiful in His time." Vicki Huffman, a former editor for Cook Communications and Thomas Nelson Publishers is the author of five books available on amazon.com. She lives in Savannah, Georgia.

Are you in the midst of your first job loss or have you been through this before? Maybe you've felt that losing your job is like a death in the family. That's normal. It's a big loss and there's a grieving process everyone goes through. Vicki Huffman and her husband went through that grieving process eight times over the years, so she's become an expert in a subject she'd rather know nothing about. In "Still Looking" Vicki gives practical advice learned from personal losses and the experiences of others who have lost jobs. She walks you through the grieving process. But, more importantly, she shares what books on how to get a job don't: how to have the peace of God even while you're still looking. It's a peace that the world doesn't give and can't understand, but it's available to fill your heart in the midst of loss. Vicki Huffman has been an editor for several national publishers and is the author of five books. She lives in Savannah, Georgia.

When you think about vintage afghans the granny probably is the first afghan that comes to mind and then the classic ripple. In this book I have put a new twist on these two vintage afghan styles. The four afghans in this book are my interpretation of these classic designs. The afghan patterns in this book are suitable for beginners but you should already know some basic crochet stitches and terminology before trying these afghans. The Lacy Ripple afghan is an easy V-Stitch pattern that is quick to make with a size K hook. The afghan looks complicated but it's really a very simple pattern. A photo tutorial is included for beginners.Granny Waves is crocheted in the classic granny style shell pattern. This pattern is a very easy scrap afghan made all in one piece so there isn't any sewing together. Once you learn the pattern it's a great afghan to crochet while watching TV not to mention using up those scrap yarns. I've included lots of photos for beginners.Hexagon Granny Ripple combines the granny and ripple patterns together into a kaleidoscope of beautiful color. The easy hexagon granny's are first crocheted then they are sewn together to form rows. A granny style ripple is then crocheted to either side of the hexagon strips.Geometric Granny Stripe is a very simple afghan to crochet. This afghan is crocheted in colorful strips and then a border is added. The strips are then sewn together and a final border is crocheted around the entire afghan. This pattern is great for using up small amounts of scrap yarns.
