The Lanford Wilson New American Play Festival honors plays that provide dynamic performance opportunities for college-aged actors between the ages of eighteen and thirty. The festival features both a full-length and short play division. Out of hundreds of submissions in the short play division, this book contains the ten 2025 finalists from playwrights from across the country. These particular official entries are all two-character plays, and they range from eight to twenty minutes. The subject-matter is diverse as the playwrights themselves.
