In a contemporary sense, the United States education system has become a cultural and political battleground. The US has witnessed a surge in racially motivated violence, restrictions on women's reproductive rights, and xenophobic policies. The most alarming development is the institutionalization of white supremacist ideologies that suppress the teaching of accurate histories of our racially stratified society. The US continues to grapple with social domination based on various sociocultural identities such as race, ethnicity, gender, class, sexual orientation, identity, ability, and other lived experiences. This book aims to equip educators with a framework for providing instructional leadership that ensures culturally responsive instruction. Changing what is taught, how it is taught, and who it is intended for is one of the most effective ways of contributing to a more progressive, equitable, and inclusive society. This requires instructional leaders to become equity leaders who mitigate harmful educational practices from prepackaged curricula and teacher evaluation systems. Through an intentionally diverse team of educators, schools can observe, measure, and support teachers to become culturally responsive instructors through formative feedback structures. It is through the practice of culturally responsive instructional supervision that schools can transform from systems of oppression into systems of opportunity.

Most people like a good mystery, as long as it's understandable and they know how it ends. According to the Bible, there was a time when God's mystery, his plan for man in Jesus Christ, was not revealed. There was a time when this mystery was truly a mystery. That time has come to an end.Let us rejoice that our redemption is complete in Christ Now, is the light and knowledge of the mystery of the gospel of Jesus Christ made manifest to the people of God This book is about the mystery of God, which is centered in our identification with Christ. Within the pages of this book get ready to embark on a wonderful journey, from the crucifixion of Christ unto the ascension of Christ at the Father's right hand. The vehicle that will provide our transportation is called "in Him".Romans 16:25,26 says, "Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, but now is made manifest, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all The Apostle Paul gives us more light in Colossians 1:25 - 27: "Whereof I was made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints; to whom God would make known what is the riches of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."This book is about the riches of the glory of the mystery of Christ (the Anointed One and His Anointing) in you, and all that the Lord Jesus did for you from the cross to the throne. The revelation of the word, or mystery of God, gave us a solid foundation upon which to establish our lives, Jesus Christ being the Rock and foundation that the church is built upon. We later learned that a correct and firm foundation (in Christ) can sustain and empower a believer to triumph over all the storms of life. When the Spirit of God began to reveal in us this mystery of Christ, and all that He did for us at Calvary, it transformed our lives. It changed our way of believing. It changed our way of thinking. It changed our way of speaking. And, it changed our way of living. So, get ready to be revolutionized, changed and transformed forever for the glory of God the father and His son, Jesus Christ.

The architectural history of Texas spans more than 300 years of European settlement and 10,000 years of habitation by native peoples. The incredibly diverse natural landscape and equally varied built environment has produced an architectural heritage of national and international stature. This book, the first of two volumes devoted to the Lone Star State, covers the central, southern, and Gulf Coast regions (the earliest areas of Spanish and Anglo settlement and the majority of the counties that won independence from Mexico in 1836) and includes four major cities--Austin, Corpus Christi, Houston, and San Antonio. The authors consider the contributions made by various cultures--Native American, Spanish, Mexican, Anglo, African American, German, Czech, Polish, and Italian--to the state's rich architectural heritage. More than 1,000 building entries canvass the most important and representative examples of Spanish missions, log cabins, German stone houses, Victorian courthouses, Moderne stores, contemporary ranch houses, modern skyscrapers, postmodern retail strips, and incursions by internationally renowned architects. With the burgeoning interest in heritage tourism, this in-depth guide--enlivened by 350 illustrations and 50 maps--will satisfy the curiosity of both local and out-of-state visitors, bringing new energy to the state's promising preservation movement.
