It is a proven fact "the belief that the spirits of dead people can communicate with people who are still alive (especially via a medium) - Vocabulary.com and as seen in the Movies: "The Conjuring" & "The Six Sense". Michael Jackson had a "secret" girlfriend he kept hidden from the world in the same manner he hid his children faces. She has granted Author and Medium, Dorcas M. Bennett permission to publish the L.O.V.E. LETTER he wrote on January 7, 2009 5 months prior to his untimely death. R.I.P. MJ This letter is compelling yet sincere & romantic. It took the author four years to share a letter intricately personal which blatantly demonstrates that Mr. Jackson had a true and pure love. The book depicts the "mysticism" of their bond and the illustrator paints the "supernatural" events of H.E.R. "dream" and H.I.S. "afterlife" (2005-2010). Brazilian Illustrator, QUIELA De Aguiar collaborated on "Painting the Dream" with contribution from Christina Meckel (cover design) . This is a birthday tribute August 29, 2013 to Michael Jackson's legacy. In our hearts of hearts... your "words" are powerful and they live on within us... As it is written in your own words, "But for me the sweetest contact with God has no form. I close my eyes, look within, and enter a deep soft silence. The infinity of God's creation embraces me" - Michael Jackson, Dancing the Dream.
Percy Jackson's Greek Gods

Percy Jackson's Greek Gods

Rick Riordan

Disney Hyperion

#1 NEW YORK TIMES BEST-SELLING AUTHORA publisher in New York asked me to write down what I know about the Greek gods, and I was like, Can we do this anonymously? Because I don't need the Olympians mad at me again. But if it helps you to know your Greek gods, and survive an encounter with them if they ever show up in your face, then I guess writing all this down will be my good deed for the week. So begins Percy Jackson's Greek Gods, in which the son of Poseidon adds his own magic--and sarcastic asides--to the classics. He explains how the world was created, then gives readers his personal take on a who's who of ancients, from Apollo to Zeus. Percy does not hold back. "If you like horror shows, blood baths, lying, stealing, backstabbing, and cannibalism, then read on, because it definitely was a Golden Age for all that." This novel-sized paperback, complete with an insert of full-color illustrations by Caldecott Honoree John Rocco, is portable and friendly, and the ideal way to introduce young readers to the classic stories. Praise for Percy Jackson's Greek Gods"Percy's gift, which is no great secret, is to breathe new life into the gods. Closest attention is paid to the Olympians, but Riordan has a sure touch when it comes to fitting much into a small space--as does Rocco's artwork, which smokes and writhes on the page as if hit by lightning. . .The inevitable go-to for Percy's legions of fans who want the stories behind his stories." --Kirkus Reviews "The age-old stories are endlessly strong, resonant, and surprising, while the telling here is fresh, irreverent, and amusing. Percy's voice. . . John Rocco illustrates the myths with drama, verve, and clarity. A must-have addition to the Percy Jackson canon." --Booklist Online "Combining the sarcasm and wit of Percy Jackson with the original Greek myths is a great way to hook tweens and teens on the stories without boring them. The beautiful illustrations by John Rocco enhance each story. . ." --VOYA

Stonewall Jackson's Little Sorrel

Stonewall Jackson's Little Sorrel

During the Civil War and throughout the rest of the nineteenth century there was no star that shone brighter than that of a small red horse who was known as Stonewall Jackson’s Little Sorrel. Robert E. Lee’s Traveller eventually became more familiar but he was mostly famous for his looks. Not so with the little sorrel. Early in the war he became known as a horse of great personality and charm, an eccentric animal with an intriguing background. Like Traveller, his enduring fame was due initially to the prominence of his owner and the uncanny similarities between the two of them. The little red horse long survived Jackson and developed a following of his own. In fact, he lived longer than almost all horses who survived the Civil War as well as many thousands of human veterans. His death in 1886 drew attention worthy of a deceased general, his mounted remains have been admired by hundreds of thousands of people since 1887, and the final burial of his bones (after a cross-country, multi-century odyssey) in 1997 was the occasion for an event that could only be described as a funeral, and a well-attended one at that. Stonewall Jackson’s Little Sorrel is the story of that horse.
