The distinguished film career of Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Jones (1919-2009) is thoroughly chronicled from her faltering start as Phylis Isley (her real name) at Republic Studios in 1939, to her re-invention as a major star by producer David O. Selznick, the actress' second husband. Each of her 24 films--among them The Song of Bernadette, Since You Went Away, Duel in the Sun, Portrait of Jennie, Madame Bovary and Love Is a Many Splendored Thing--is discussed in depth. Robert Osborne, host of the Turner Classic Movies cable channel, affectionately recalls his interview with Jennifer Jones in the Foreword. The actress' biography, radio appearances and unrealized projects are also covered, along with previously undocumented details of her limited stage career, including a 1966 revival of Clifford Odets' The Country Girl.

This striking book showcases fresh, contemporary interiors that reflect Jennifer Post’s “pure space” philosophy: a serene, meticulously organized volume that offers a peaceful break from a busy world. From lofts in New York City to Miami high-rises to Palm Beach villas, each interior is immaculately conceived, detailed, and constructed—the epitome of pure, tailored modernism. In her own words, Post demonstrates how she transforms living environments into elegantly edited spaces, using clean lines, white surfaces that reflect natural light, and open areas that allow a home to breathe. Since the age of eight, when she traveled to neighbors’ houses offering to organize their closets and rearrange their rooms, Post has been dedicated to her pure aesthetic vision, resulting in a timeless body of work. This is the first monograph on designer Post, who for a decade has been included among Architectural Digest’s coveted AD 100 list of the world’s top architects and designers.

Jennifer Guidi s sand paintings mix oil paint with sand to create surfaces of color and texture. Evolving from her earlier figurative works, these abstract sand paintings evoke the traditions of landscape and naturalist painting. Accomplished by applying a thick layer of sand to the painted ground and then making precise marks while the sand is still wet, the paintings luminous qualities and their textured relief register and generate minute shifts in perception, creating their own sense of ambient light. These physical and tactile emanations are based on her observations of light in Los Angeles, where she lives and works, and where hazy skies caused by the atmospheric conditions of the West Coast, as well as the city s man-made pollution, make for extra-brilliant sunsets. The fourteen paintings in the exhibition also include Guidi s first triangular-shaped canvases, in a spectrum of colors, placing the organic accumulations of paint and sand within a sharp geometry.

You Have No Idea Book - Jennifer Wilson
This book was written by more than 22 incredible OVERCOMERS. As women in success, the truth is that we all have challenges. We have distractions and disappointments. We have pain and betrayal. However even still, in order to have success in life, we must be willing to push through the pain anyway. The purpose of this book is to connect you with women from all over who all have different stories of triumph but they all share one thing in common, they are pushing through no matter what. We think it is important to share these stories because with the world being so accessible to social media and TV, sometimes, its easy to fall into the idea that you may be alone. Typically, when it comes to social media, people will only show the positives of their lives and not the challenges which we believe they should.
