While at PW I was humbled to see my stories time and time again be the most clicked/read stories of the week. Most of my stories had 1000's of hits a day for over 5 days in a row constantly. I always said, it is the combination of a good nose for a story and the great editing team I shared which was a winning combination. Oklahoman Mark Maxey is a Yuchi Indian, enrolled in the Muscogee Nation, and has studied radio/TV/film with an Art minor in college. He is a member of the National Writers Union, UAW Local 1981/AFL-CIO. He's worked as an administrative assistant, petroleum landman, barista, staff writer, paralegal, content producer and graphic designer. He spent six months as a National Data Team volunteer for the Bernie Sanders for President campaign.
