The word Karma literally means action. It may appear that Karma is happening to us, as if some outside force is causing good things or bad things to come to us. However, it is really our own inner conditionings and processes that are leading us to experience outer effects or consequences in relation to our own actions. The law of Karma is a universal process, whereby causes lead to effects. This is something that all of us are already familiar with, whether or not we use the word Karma to describe it. Newton's third law of motion, that every action leads to a reaction, is an application of the law of Karma. Whether we are talking about physics or daily life in the world, it is extremely useful to understand the law and process of Karma so that we may regulate or direct the process. We can soften the impact of the playing out of our past Karmas, and can choose our own future Karma if we are willing to put in the effort to learn how to do it.
Spiritual teacher and best-selling author Swami Dhyan Giten's new and beautiful book is a gift of love, silence, joy, truth, compassion, freedom and the divine. In the introduction to the book, Swami Prem Pathik in Nepal says: "I found Swami Dhyan Giten's book "God is Everywhere" to be a guide book for truth seekers. Nothing can exist without the divine. Silence is the door to the divine. The fragrance of the divine is love." In this book, Giten says that the thirst for the divine is in everyone. The thirst for the divine is an innate quality. The most fundamental question in life is to learn that existence cares for you. Existence is full of love. Giten challenges our view of God by saying that God is within yourself.. He says that God is hidden in your own heart. God is your innermost being. Giten says that love is the bridge to God. Love is what creates meaning in life. Without love, life lacks meaning. It is love that opens the door to God. Love people, love trees and love animals. The more you love, the closer you come to God. Let your love become an invitation to God. In deep silence and emptiness, you become one with God. Religion is to be in tune with the whole, says Giten. Religion is to be in love with the whole. Giten says that religion means to listen to our own authentic being. Religion means to listen to the silent voice within ourselves, which will always lead us right. Giten posits that religion means to realize that God is already available to you. We need to follow our heart, we need to follow our being, We need to have the courage to listen to our heart. Hidden deep within ourselves is the silent voice of truth. Then you will discover that your nature is to become God. Spiritual teacher and author Swami Dhyan Gitens quotes, articles and books have touched the hearts of thousands of people. The influence from his teaching and books continues to reach intelligent people and seekers of truth in virtually all countries in the world. This book is a compilation of lectures from satsang with Swami Dhyan Giten between January 2021 and November 2022 in Stockholm.

In this ancient classic of Eastern thought, a man named Arjuna, a warrior who finds his courage and faith failing him, is guided in a discourse from God Himself in the human form, Lord Krishna. What follows is one of the most astounding philosophical and spiritual revelations ever given. This book, the most sacred of Hindu scriptures, has been the religious light guiding such men as Gandhi, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau, and many millions more. ""When doubts haunt me, when disappointments stare me in the face, and I see not one ray of hope on the horizon, I turn to Bhagavad-Gita and find a verse to comfort me; and I immediately begin to smile in the midst of overwhelming sorrow. Those who meditate on the Gita will derive fresh joy and new meanings from it every day."" - Mahatma Gandhi
The "Srimad-Bhagavad-Gita," translated and commented on by Swami Swarupananda, is an early 20th-century rendition of the sacred Hindu scripture into modern, readable English prose. This translation remains faithful to the original, ensuring that the line numbering aligns closely with the Sanskrit text. While the original book includes the Sanskrit text, this edition focuses solely on the English translation.Swami Swarupananda's work is particularly suitable for those exploring the Bhagavad Gita for the first time. It offers a word-for-word English rendering, making it accessible to a wide audience. The translation's clarity and contemporary language not only convey the profound inner meaning of this ancient Indian scripture but also make it easily understandable for beginners. This version of the Bhagavad Gita serves as an essential guide to one of the world's most revered spiritual texts, providing insights into the philosophical and spiritual richness of Indian culture.
