Nancy Fraser and Politics is a systematic reconstruction of the work of Nancy Fraser, a key contemporary figure of critical theory and socialist feminism. It argues that Fraser's critical theory is a powerful and sophisticated analytical prism for diagnosing the breadth of empirical variety and depth of structural causality of injustice and domination in the ‘actually existing’ capitalist democracies of today, and for informing and inspiring numerous political movements struggling for societal emancipation. Ivkovic and Zaric demonstrate that a key aspect of Fraser’s critical theory, her structural approach to domination which traces the manifold empirical injustices to a common root cause, is a thread that runs through her entire opus.

Nancy Mitford's life was as glamorous and as dramatic as her most famous novels, The Pursuit of Love and Love in a Cold Climate. Mitford was witty, intelligent, often acerbic, a great tease, and an acute observer of upper-class English idiosyncrasies. With the publication of her comic novels, based in part on her eccentric family, she became a huge bestseller and household name. An inspired letter writer, she wrote almost daily to a wide variety of correspondents, among them Evelyn Waugh, Harold Acton, John Betjeman, and, of course, her famous sisters. Noted biographer Selina Hastings captures the gaiety and frivolity as well as the unhappy truth of Nancy Mitford's life: her failed marriage and her long, unfulfilled relationship with her dashing but unfaithful French lover contrasting sharply with literary celebrity and glittering social success. Hastings has written a biography that is as superbly entertaining and clear-eyed as the unforgettable novels that are its subject's lasting claim to fame.

When Photojournalist Nancy Borowick’s parents—Howie and Laurel—were diagnosed with stage IV cancer and simultaneously underwent treatment, she did the only thing she knew how—she documented it. By turning the camera on her family’s life during this most intimate time, Borowick learned a great deal about herself, family, and relationships in general. She discovered that her parents’ marriage—while complex—was an intricate symbiosis of compassion. Their partnership and sense of family only deepened. And no matter the prognosis, there was always room for laughter. Today, Borowick, herself, is married. Her father passed away in 2013, and her mom followed suit, 364 days later. The lessons she garnered from Howie and Laurel were plentiful: always call when the airplane lands, never pass on blueberry pie—and most importantly, family is love and love is family.
Nancy's new puppy is a dream come true, until Hannah's fresh-baked muffins turn up missing and the puppy is blamed for stealing them, so Nancy is forced to do some detective work to find out who the real thief is.
