L'augmentation du nombre de professeurs temps partiel dans les universit s d montre un besoin de recherche dans ce domaine. L'objectif tait d'identifier les r les des enseignants temps partiel dans les programmes de baccalaur at en soins infirmiers dans le Midwest en utilisant le mod le de bourse de Boyer. La population comprenait 518 enseignants et administrateurs en soins infirmiers de 25 coll ges et universit s de l'Ohio et du Michigan ayant une classification Carnegie similaire. 234 des enqu tes envoy es par courrier ont t retourn es volontairement, ce qui repr sente un taux de r ponse de 45,2 %. Les principales conclusions sont les suivantes: Les r les de service et d'enseignement ont t signal s des niveaux plus lev s que les domaines de recherche et d'int gration pour les enseignants temps partiel. Les professeurs temps partiel ayant plus d'ann es d'exp rience dans l'enseignement, un niveau d' ducation plus lev et un ge plus avanc avaient des niveaux de recherche, d'enseignement, de service et d'int gration plus lev s. Les professeurs temps partiel de plus haut niveau ont d clar davantage de recherche et d'int gration, mais pas de service ou d'enseignement. Les activit s de recherche des professeurs temps partiel se sont av r es plus lev es que le niveau indiqu dans la litt rature de cette tude. Des tudes ant rieures ont montr que les probl mes d'inconfort musculo-squelettique et de mal de dos taient vidents non seulement chez les adultes, mais aussi chez les enfants. En ce qui concerne ce probl me, cette tude value le niveau des postures prolong es sur le lieu de travail chez les travailleurs et les l ves des coles primaires et secondaires d'Accra-Adenta et fait galement tat de la relation entre les TMS r sultant de postures prolong es et leurs effets sur la s curit et la sant au travail (SST). Une approche d' chantillonnage de commodit a d'abord t utilis e pour s lectionner vingt (20) coles des niveaux l mentaire, primaire et secondaire de premier cycle. En outre, une m thode d' chantillonnage al atoire a t adopt e pour s lectionner les personnes interrog es dans chaque cole. Au total, 421 sujets g s de 7 54 ans ont t valu s. Les r sultats ont montr que 50 % des sujets ont signal une g ne physique, les sympt mes les plus fr quents tant ceux du cou (65,4 %), du genou (81,6 %) et de l' paule (74 %). L'analyse a montr que les sympt mes identifi s pouvaient entra ner des troubles musculo-squelettiques des membres sup rieurs. Il est donc recommand de sensibiliser, d' duquer et d'appliquer les principes de l'ergonomie dans les coles primaires afin de pr venir l'apparition de la plupart des TMS.
