This ambitious exposition by Malik and Mordeson on the fuzzification of discrete structures not only supplies a solid basic text on this key topic, but also serves as a viable tool for learning basic fuzzy set concepts "from the ground up" due to its unusual lucidity of exposition. While the entire presentation of this book is in a completely traditional setting, with all propositions and theorems provided totally rigorous proofs, the readability of the presentation is not compromised in any way; in fact, the many ex­ cellently chosen examples illustrate the often tricky concepts the authors address. The book's specific topics - including fuzzy versions of decision trees, networks, graphs, automata, etc. - are so well presented, that it is clear that even those researchers not primarily interested in these topics will, after a cursory reading, choose to return to a more in-depth viewing of its pages. Naturally, when I come across such a well-written book, I not only think of how much better I could have written my co-authored monographs, but naturally, how this work, as distant as it seems to be from my own area of interest, could nevertheless connect with such. Before presenting the briefest of some ideas in this direction, let me state that my interest in fuzzy set theory (FST) has been, since about 1975, in connecting aspects of FST directly with corresponding probability concepts. One chief vehicle in carrying this out involves the concept of random sets.

Die auf nanokristallinem TiO₂ basierenden Farbstoffsolarzellen (DSSCs) weisen eine hohe Energieumwandlungseffizienz auf und sind einer der h ufigsten Ersatzstoffe f r kosteng nstige Solarenergieumwandlungsger te bei hohen Temperaturen. ZnO ist ein weiterer vielversprechender Metalloxid-Halbleiter, der TiO₂ aufgrund seiner im Vergleich zu TiO₂ h heren elektronischen Mobilit t ersetzen kann, und sein Leitungsband-Energieniveau ist hnlich wie bei TiO₂. Nanokristalline ZnO-Partikel wurden durch das Sol-Gel-Verfahren unter Verwendung mesopor ser Elektroden f r farbstoffsensibilisierte Solarzellen hergestellt. Die Anatas-Phase von ZnO wurde durch R ntgendiffraktometrie best tigt. Die Partikelgr e der ZnO-Nanopartikel wurde durch Transmissionselektronenmikroskopie (TEM) best tigt. Die Beschichtung der ZnO-Nanopartikel erfolgte mit nat rlichen Farbstoffen, die aus Spinat und Mariengold gewonnen wurden. Die Rasterelektronenmikroskop- und EDX-Untersuchung zeigt die Morphologie und elementare Zusammensetzung der reinen und mit nat rlichem Farbstoff beschichteten ZnO-Nanopartikel. Tauc's Plot best tigte die Verringerung der Bandl cke von ZnO-Nanopartikeln mit nat rlicher Farbstoffbeschichtung. Raman-Streuspektrum-Spektren zeigen aktive Phononmoden f r alle synthetisierten Proben. Die mit nat rlichem Farbstoff beschichteten Nanopartikel sind besser.

Les nanoparticules de ZnO ont t recouvertes de colorants naturels extraits d' pinards et d'or mari . L' tude au microscope lectronique balayage et l' tude EDX r v lent la morphologie et la composition l mentaire des nanoparticules de ZnO pures et recouvertes de colorants naturels. Le diagramme de Tauc confirme la diminution de la bande interdite des nanoparticules de ZnO avec l'enrobage de colorant naturel. Les spectres de diffusion Raman r v lent des modes de phonon actifs pour tous les chantillons synth tis s. Les nanoparticules enduites de colorant naturel se sont r v l es meilleures.

Le celle solari sensibilizzate ai coloranti (DSSC) basate su TiO2 nano cristallino mostrano un'elevata efficienza di conversione di potenza, uno dei sostituti pi comuni per i dispositivi di conversione dell'energia solare a basso costo ad alta temperatura. Lo ZnO un altro promettente semiconduttore a ossido metallico che pu sostituire il TiO2 grazie alla sua maggiore mobilit elettronica rispetto al TiO2 e al suo livello energetico della banda di conduzione simile a quello del TiO2. Particelle nanocristalline di ZnO sono state preparate con il metodo sol gel utilizzando elettrodi mesoporosi per celle solari sensibilizzate con coloranti. La fase anatasio dello ZnO stata confermata mediante XRD. La microscopia elettronica a trasmissione (TEM) stata utilizzata per confermare la dimensione delle particelle di ZnO. Il rivestimento di coloranti naturali estratti dagli spinaci e di oro marino stato effettuato su nano particelle di ZnO. Lo studio al microscopio elettronico a scansione e all'EDX rivela la morfologia e la composizione elementare delle nano particelle di ZnO pure e rivestite di coloranti naturali. Il grafico di Tauc ha confermato la diminuzione del band gap delle nanoparticelle di ZnO con il rivestimento di colorante naturale. Gli spettri di diffusione Raman rivelano modalit foniche attive per tutti i campioni sintetizzati. Le nanoparticelle rivestite di colorante naturale sono risultate migliori.

O gr fico de Tauc confirmou a diminui o do intervalo de banda das nanopart culas de ZnO com revestimento de corante natural. Parents bring their children to pediatrician for common pediatric problems and ask for opinion on coexisting skin problems (secondary complaint) or they come with primary dermatological problems.
