Gavin Macleod had apocalyptic goals. With a catastrophe created, he believed the humans would turn to him for help. It was his destiny as he had found a portal, which exposed him to the game of life. Every step had fallen into place but in the shadows, someone else had ideas of grandeur. A superior being had watched over him and observed other species interact with Gavin. He also wanted to change history and had kept an eye on the ones who coaxed the Macleod Clan from the Norse King. No one could interfere with the being's plans and when Gavin fell in love, he intervened. The being wanted a puppet so he integrated with Gavin but a woman stood in his way who had her own ideas.A goddess watched over Gavin and the alien being. She felt responsible for Gavin's actions and would give up her life to change the present situation. Others had sacrificed their lives and their souls waited as they had to solve a puzzle to end the suffering. An ancient relic was needed to trap Gavin's soul. The end was unexpected but life is always unpredictable when, a snake is amongst us.
Gavin & the Jingle Gulls - The Story of the making of a Seagull Supergroup When Gavin the Gull bands together with his buddies to perform a Christmas song for charity, what he doesn't expect is to end up as part of a seagull supergroup. Ambition soars, but it isn't an easy path to fly to the top of the gull charts. Personalities clash, egos inflate, and bickering is rife. When the famous Lady Serena and the Seagull Songstresses arrive, things only get more complicated. This heartwarming story of Gavin, Stasher, Gobbler, Slowfly, Screecher, and Dropper by Norfolk author Sally Lloyd is a hilarious read, full of gull humour and adventure. Gavin the Gull is already well known in the county as Sally's mascot for her photography and design business. He even has his own Instagram and Facebook accounts. "While people usually have strong views on the antics of seagulls, which are often pretty negative, Gavin the Gull has always been viewed with affection by my customers. Gavin and the Jingle Gulls is the first story of many. I live by the River Wensum, where there is daily inspiration from the seagulls that live there. You don't have to love seagulls to enjoy this book, but by the end of it, you are sure to see them in a whole new light."

Gavin Maxwell was a romantic, self-destructive adventurer, brave and handsome, with a deep sympathy for the underdog, a wonderfully curious mind and a dogged commitment to discovering the truth. It was said of him that he was loved by women, had sex with men but his emotional life was ruled by animals. His father died in the trenches in the year of his birth, so he and his brothers enjoyed a wonderfully carefree childhood, living in passionate proximity to their mother, the widowed daughter of the Duke of Northumberland, in an isolated house on the south-west coast of Scotland. He became one of the most brilliant and quixotic of British travel-writers, who wrote about Iraq (where he travelled with Wilfrid Thesiger in 1956 and acquired his first otter), Sicily (where he befriended both Communist peasants and Mafia hitmen) and Morocco (where he spent six years chronicling the rise and fall of a Berber dynasty). But he would become even more famous for his trilogy of books set in the north-west coast of Scotland, which was a true fulfilment of his affinity with nature and a love of wild things, most especially otters. Despite the success of Ring of Bright Water, The Rocks Remain and Raven Seek thy Brother, the vast bulk of his life remained a closely guarded secret. He was by turns a shark-hunter, a wartime secret agent, portrait-painter, racing car-driver, naturalist, poet and a social renegade. Often poised on the edge of bankruptcy he could also be insanely profligate and generous.

Robin thought he knew everything there was to know about gorillas before he bought Gavin. He thought they were just big and scary chest-thumpers! But Gavin was different, and he told him a fascinating story about his life in a safari park, and how the other animals wouldn't let him live his dream of being a childminder to the baby animals - just because they thought he was a scary gorilla! Read Gavin's lovely story, find out how he met Snuffles the Dog, and learn as Robin did how the power of friendship can change your life, and not to judge someone on appearances alone! The Diaries of Robin’s Toys is a 10 book series which teaches children moral lessons through the magic of toys that come to life! Readers aged 5+ and fans of the Tom Gates series will love getting to know Robin’s world.
Gavin Bolton’s Contextual Drama is the result of more than two decades of study of Bolton’s theory and practice. For teachers and those in the caring professions, it will clarify the power of contextual drama as a beneficial learning medium for children and adults, both within and beyond the classroom. The core of the book is a detailed analysis of nine examples of the contextual drama mode; the first five demonstrate and analyse Bolton’s practice with children and young people and the final four describe his teaching with adults. Each chapter is framed by an introduction that contextualizes Bolton, from his initial beginnings working with visually and aurally-challenged children to his position as reader in drama at Durham University. The final two chapters offer reflection on the nature of this work and, in particular, the significance of Bolton’s contributions to education.
Yeah, okay, so maybe sexy Gavin Beran has a little bit of a problem. He likes to pursue women who need "fixing", ride in on his white horse and save the day. He's well aware of his savior complex, as if his brothers would ever let him forget all the "broken dolls" he's helped in his life. That doesn't stop him from being attracted to innocent, beautiful blonde Faith, a curvy werebear with more family troubles than the Jackson Five. One simple look at her leads to a kiss in the moonlight, which blows up in Gavin's face in three seconds flat. Now Faith is on the run, clinging to her smoking hot savior and wondering how she's going to keep her V-card intact. Gavin's kindness only fans the flames of their desire, and soon passions spiral out of control. This sensual, sweet BBW romance features intense chemistry, brawny men brawling, and a breathless chance at love... if only Faith and Gavin can reach out and grab it, hold onto it for dear life.

This volume serves as an excellent introduction to Middle English, Scottish poetry. Gavin Douglas's The Palis of Honoure is a dream poem from early sixteenth-century Scotland. It operates within the courtly tradition of Scottish poetry, establishing a dichotomy of earthly and heavenly things, instructing the audience in becoming more like the heavenly things in their comportment. This edition includes an ample gloss and notes, as well as an informative introduction and glossary, making it a perfect edition for use in classrooms of all levels.

British artist Gavin Turk (born 1967) has been at the forefront of contemporary sculpture since the late ‘80s, with his painted bronzes, waxworks, recyclings of art-historical icons and imaginative use of trash. Throughout his career, Turk’s sculptures have dealt with issues of authorship, authenticity and identity, working to demystify or parody the myth of the artist. This fully illustrated catalog is published for Turk’s show at Damien Hirst’s new London exhibition space, Newport Street Gallery. The volume spans the duration of the artist’s career to date, featuring his most important pieces from his seminal blue-plaque work, “Cave,” through his many signature-based artworks, egg sculptures and waxworks, to his more recent bronze casts of sleeping bags and trash bags. Featuring three gatefolds, it also includes essays by psychoanalyst and author Darian Leader and Nigerian poet and novelist Ben Okri, plus a conversation with Hirst.
